“basta we went here for Christmas party” 🎄😅
Ended up doing a full-on Chinese food taste test.
📍 Amah – Chinese Restaurant
Orders: see photos for the full spread
Overall Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
(may ilang standout na easy 5/5)
Dish-by-dish thoughts (real talk):
Fried Rice – 4/5
Masarap, flavorful, hindi bitin kahit pang-share.
Steamed Veg (Bok Choy) – 4/5
Fresh, earthy, and nicely cooked — simple but done right.
Birthday Noodles – 4/5
Mas light yung atake, less greasy than usual Chinese noodles (plus points).
Char Siu – 5/5
Ito talaga yung inabangan ko. Tender but not OA sa lambot, flavorful but not too sweet — pasok na pasok sa banga.
Chicken Inasal – 5/5
Second fave. Malasa, sakto yung char flavor, and hindi makunat.
Steamed Fish – 4/5
Classic Chinese-style steaming. Yung sauce lang medyo light for a slightly fatty fish — maybe an option for a richer sauce would make it better.
Black Pepper Beef – 4/5
Flavor is on point, medyo matigas lang yung meat.
Pork & Chives Stir-Fry – 4/5
Bet ko rin ‘to, medyo maalat lang for my taste.
Cheesecake – 5/5
Perfect way to end the meal. Creamy, balanced, not too sweet.
May complimentary ata haha na potato chips at star din sya for me
✔️ Place & ambience are really nice - bagay for any celebrations
❌ Not very commute-friendly (better if may car or Grab)
Overall, solid choice for group dinners and celebrations, lalo na kung char siu lover ka 😌
