I’ve eaten at CYMA many times over the years, and no matter what I tell myself I’m going to order, I almost always end up getting the same favorites.

The Beef Kebab is my go-to. It’s consistently tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Simple dish, but they get it right every time.

My other favorite is the Pork Chop with Stuffed Bell Pepper Rice. The pork chop is flavorful and satisfying, while the stuffed bell pepper rice brings something different to the plate that just works so well with the meat. It’s one of those dishes that I never get tired of ordering.

There are a lot of great things on the menu, but if I’m being asked what I personally recommend at CYMA, these two dishes are always at the top of my list.

Some restaurants are worth visiting once. CYMA is one of those places I keep coming back to because I already know exactly what I’m going to enjoy.

Where to Eat Balbacua in Cebu City 🇵🇭

Want to experience Cebu like a local? Forget the fancy restaurants and head where the locals line up for great food.

One of the best recommendations we received was Yancy’s Balbacuahan, and it absolutely delivered!

For only ₱150, we enjoyed a massive serving of authentic Balbacua packed with tender beef, rich flavors, and collagen-filled goodness. The thick, savory broth and generous portions made every bite satisfying and worth the visit.

Sometimes the best meals aren’t found in tourist spots. They’re found in simple local eateries that have perfected their recipes over generations.

If you’re visiting Cebu and looking for an authentic food adventure, add Yancy’s Balbacuahan to your list.
