WHAT IF⁉️

Illumi Was Ordered to Kill Hisoka?

Illumi and Hisoka have a strange relationship, but what if their alliance has a hidden purpose? What if Illumi's real reason for staying close to Hisoka is because someone secretly ordered him to eliminate him?

Everyone knows Hisoka is dangerous. But there's one person who might understand exactly how dangerous he is… Illumi Zoldyck.
We've seen them work together. We've seen Hisoka ask Illumi for a favor.

And we've even seen them discuss killing each other. But what if their relationship started for a completely different reason? What if Illumi was actually sent to eliminate Hisoka? Think about the Zoldycks. They're assassins.

If someone becomes too dangerous, too unpredictable, or threatens their interests… they don't need a reason to take action. And Hisoka? He's basically a walking disaster. He doesn't follow rules. He doesn't care about alliances.

And eventually, he betrayed the Phantom Troupe. So imagine Silva or another Zoldyck secretly telling Illumi:

"Stay close to him. Learn everything you can. When the opportunity comes… kill him."

But there's a problem. Illumi doesn't kill Hisoka.
Instead… they become allies. And that's where things get interesting. What if Illumi slowly realized that killing Hisoka wouldn't be as easy as the Zoldycks expected?

Maybe he became fascinated by him. Maybe Hisoka even manipulated the situation. And perhaps the "alliance" between them is actually a psychological battle… with both men waiting for the other to make the first mistake.

Because here's the terrifying possibility: What if Hisoka already knows Illumi was sent to kill him? And he's simply keeping Illumi close…because he wants to know exactly who is behind the order.

So their partnership might not be a friendship at all. It could be two assassins pretending to trust each other… while secretly preparing for the moment one of them finally says:
"You're my next target." 🃏🪡

WHEN GON LOST HIS CHILDHOOD

There was a moment when Gon stopped being the cheerful kid we knew. After seeing Kite’s lifeless body, Gon spent the entire time believing there was still a chance to save him.

Then Pitou finally told him the truth. Kite was already dead. And something inside Gon broke.
He didn’t scream. He didn’t attack immediately.
He simply stood there… accepting the truth.
Then Gon made a terrifying decision.

He offered everything he had—his Nen, his future, even his own life—just for the power to defeat Pitou right now. And when he transformed…Pitou realized the horrifying truth.
This wasn't the innocent Gon they had fought before.

This was the Gon who had sacrificed his entire future for revenge. One of the most shocking moments in Hunter x Hunter wasn't when Gon became stronger. It was when we realized…

Gon was willing to destroy himself to win. And that's what made this moment unforgettable.

WHAT IF⁉️

Alluka Isn't the Real Threat?

Everyone fears Nanika because of the terrifying power she possesses. But what if the real mystery isn't Nanika's ability to grant wishes? What if the Zoldyck family completely misunderstood what she actually is?

The Zoldyck family has encountered countless dangerous people. Assassins. Nen users. Monsters. But there's one being they fear more than almost anything else. Nanika. They locked Alluka away because of her.

They created rules around her. They treated her like a weapon that could destroy everything. But here's the strange part… What if Nanika never wanted to hurt anyone?

Think about how she behaves around Killua. She doesn't treat him like a target. She listens to him. She trusts him. And most importantly…
she seems to genuinely love him. So why would something capable of granting almost any wish become so attached to one human?

Here's where the theory gets interesting. What if Nanika isn't actually a "monster" from the Dark Continent? What if she's something completely different? Something that doesn't naturally understand human morality.

Maybe she doesn't know the difference between a miracle… and a disaster. When someone asks for something, Nanika simply fulfills the request. The consequences?

That's the human's problem. And that could explain why the Zoldycks are terrified of her. Not because Nanika is evil… but because her power doesn't understand limits.

And Killua may be the only person who discovered how to communicate with her without exploiting her. Which means Killua isn't simply protecting Alluka. He might actually be doing something nobody in the Zoldyck family ever thought possible:

teaching a being from the Dark Continent how to understand humanity. And if that's true…
Nanika might not be the greatest danger.
She might be the key to understanding the Dark Continent itself.

Because what if there are other beings like her?
And what if humanity has been calling them monsters… simply because we don't understand them?

Maybe Killua isn't protecting the world from Nanika.Maybe… he's protecting Nanika from the world. 👁️

WHAT IF⁉️

Chrollo Is Slowly Losing Himself?

Chrollo's ability, Skill Hunter, allows him to steal other people's Nen abilities. But what if every ability he steals comes with more than just its power? What if Chrollo is slowly becoming a collection of the people he has defeated?

Chrollo can steal Nen abilities. We already know that. But what if we're misunderstanding what he's actually stealing? Think about it. Every ability Chrollo takes belonged to someone else.

Their talent. Their creativity. Their way of fighting. Their identity. And Chrollo keeps collecting them. Now imagine something even darker. What if Nen abilities aren't completely separate from their users?

What if a person's personality, emotions, and memories leave an imprint on their Nen? Then every time Chrollo steals an ability… he might also be carrying a tiny piece of that person. At first, it wouldn't matter.

One ability. Then another. Then another. But Chrollo has spent years collecting them. And suddenly… the leader of the Phantom Troupe might not be completely himself anymore. Maybe that's why Chrollo's personality feels so empty.

Maybe his lack of emotion isn't because he doesn't have feelings. Maybe he's carrying too many. Imagine hundreds of Nen users… all leaving traces of themselves inside one person. And here's the terrifying part.

What if eventually…

one of those personalities becomes strong enough to influence Chrollo? What if the abilities he's stolen aren't just weapons? What if they're slowly fighting for control? Because Chrollo's greatest strength may also be his biggest weakness.

He can take other people's powers... but perhaps every power he takes brings him one step further away from who Chrollo originally was. And if that's true… The final battle against Chrollo might not be about defeating the Phantom Troupe's leader.

It might be about discovering… who Chrollo really is underneath everything he's stolen.

WHAT IF⁉️

Ging Knew Gon Would Become a Monster?

Ging may have understood Gon's potential long before Gon ever discovered Nen. But what if Ging already knew that, under the right circumstances, Gon could become something terrifying?

What if Ging didn't leave Gon because he didn't care about him? What if he left… because he knew exactly what Gon could become? Think about it. Ging is one of the greatest Hunters alive.

He understands Nen, people, and the dangers of the world better than almost anyone. So when Ging left Gon with Mito… maybe he wasn't simply choosing his adventure over his son. Maybe he was making a decision.

Because imagine raising a child with incredible Nen potential… and knowing that his emotions could become his greatest source of power. Ging may have realized something about Gon very early.

Gon doesn't just become stronger when he trains. He becomes stronger when he has something to lose. That's why Ging may have deliberately kept his distance. He wanted Gon to develop naturally. To make his own friends.

To experience fear. To experience loss. And eventually… to discover his own limits. Then came Pitou. Gon finally experienced something strong enough to break him. Kite was gone. Gon couldn't accept it. And instead of simply becoming angry… Gon's Nen responded to his emotions in an unimaginable way.

He sacrificed his entire future for power. And here's the scary part. What if Ging knew this was possible? What if he understood that Gon's potential wasn't simply about how strong he could become… but about how much power he could draw from his emotions?

Maybe Ging's greatest fear wasn't Gon becoming weak. Maybe it was Gon becoming too strong. Because if Gon ever learned how to control the power he used against Pitou… he could become something completely different.

Something even Ging might struggle to handle.
And perhaps that's why Ging never tried to raise Gon himself. He wasn't preparing Gon to become a Hunter. He was trying to make sure Gon could eventually choose what kind of person he wanted to become.

Because Ging may have known something Gon didn't. Power doesn't make a monster. Sometimes… it's what you're willing to sacrifice for that power. And Gon had already shown us… he was willing to sacrifice everything. 👁️
