Have you ever thought of discipline as nourishment? It’s easy to see rules as restrictions, but Proverbs 3:7-8 paints a different picture: "Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body, and nourishment to your bones." Just like our bodies need healthy food to thrive, our spirits need the discipline of following God’s ways. It’s not about deprivation—it’s about feeding our souls with what truly sustains us. 🌾 Where in your life has God been adding spiritual ‘vegetables’ lately? Maybe it’s a new habit, a challenging but growth-filled season, or a shift in perspective. Share with us—how has discipline played a role in your faith journey? 🙏

I'll be honest—I've never been a huge fan of vegetables. 🥦 As a kid, I stuck to the basics: corn, beans, peas. But as I grew, my palate matured, and I started appreciating more complex flavors. Following Jesus is a lot like that. There are parts I love—worship, quiet moments with Him, His surprises—but others? Not so much. Prayer, Bible study, service? They don't always come naturally to me. But just like veggies, these disciplines are vital nutrients for my faith. "Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones...My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in." (Proverbs 3:7-8, 11-12) If you're struggling with a spiritual "vegetable," maybe it's time to ask God what He's trying to grow in you. Have you ever worked on a project, only to have it unravel at the last moment? 😔 Kathryn shares how life can feel that way—carefully planned patterns disrupted by unexpected setbacks. But here’s the beautiful truth: For those who know Jesus, God can re-thread our lives into something far more precious.

“He alone can make my failures, pain, and trials into a pattern of Holy origin, beautiful in His eyes and fit for His use.”

Our time here is uncertain, but our purpose isn’t. Let’s hold tightly to what matters most—our relationships, our faith, and the love we share. Watch the full devotional here: https://youtu.be/DSZmBdl0quk How have you seen God re-thread your life’s pattern? Share your story below! 🙏

Have you ever looked at your life and felt like it's a string of pearls with some loose ends? Maybe moments of joy and success feel secure, but the struggles and failures seem to dangle, unfinished. Today's verse reminds us that God's work is eternal and complete: "I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it; and God has done it, that men should fear before him." — Ecclesiastes 3:14 🌟 Those loose ends? They're part of God's design too. He weaves them into something beautiful when we trust Him. Where in your life do you need to surrender the loose ends to Him today? 🙏

Do you ever feel pulled in too many directions, trying to serve but missing the sacred moments? Today’s verse reminds us of Martha and Mary’s different responses to Jesus: "As they went on their way, he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house." — Luke 10:38 Martha was busy serving, while Mary chose to sit at Jesus’ feet. Both are important, but where do you find yourself today? In your life, have you ever felt the pressure of balancing multiple responsibilities? How did you handle it? 🙏✨

🌅 Have you ever felt like Martha, so busy serving that you miss sitting at Jesus' feet? My friend Cindy—who’s the ultimate Martha in the kitchen—shared how she longs for those quiet Mary moments in the morning. 🙏

Kathryn’s devotional today reminded me that Jesus gently redirects us when we’re focused on the wrong things. Like Martha, we often let daily demands push Him to the bottom of our to-do lists. But He desires so much more for us—the treasure of His presence.

As Kathryn says, “We are exchanging the glory of His presence for the hollowness of ‘busy,’ the Bread of Life for a dry, hard, molded crust.” 🍞

Have you ever carried the weight of abandonment? The scars run deep when those closest to us leave us behind. Kathryn shares her journey of discovering a Father who never abandons. 💔

"Submitting my life to God through Jesus, I found that I had access to my heavenly Father. He gently and methodically expressed His love for me, lovingly guided, and yes, disciplined me."

In the love of other believers, she saw reflections of our Heavenly Father's character. His protection, fairness, provision, and tenderness became clear to her. 🙏

Have you ever felt abandoned? Like no one is there to catch you when you fall? The psalmist knew that feeling too, but they also knew this truth: "When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up." — Psalms 27:10 🌟

God’s love is a promise that He will never leave us. When human love fails, His love remains. When we feel forgotten, He remembers. When we’re alone, He’s there. 🙏

If you’ve ever struggled with feeling abandoned, you’re not alone. God sees you, He loves you, and He will take you up. How has seeking God’s relationship helped you find your Father’s love? Share your story below.

Do you ever feel like there aren't enough hours in the day? Like time is slipping through your fingers? Psalm 31:14-16 reminds us that our times are in God's hands: "But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, 'You are my God.' My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. Make your face to shine on your servant. Save me in your loving kindness." This verse isn't just about surrendering our schedules to God—it's about trusting that He's working all things together for our good, even when we can't see the full picture. 🙏 Where in your daily routine do you need to surrender more to God's timing today? Let's encourage each other in the comments!

Have you ever watched sunlight flicker through fast-moving clouds? It's like a natural strobe light! Kathryn shares how this simple moment revealed something profound about time and God's faithfulness.

"Time marches on, and on, and on in a monotonous beat which intensifies with each unrelenting year, and then life is suddenly over, always sooner than it should be."

God's plan for time is for our benefit and His glory. He is our constant Presence in the shifting light of change.

Ever seen a massive tree get chipped away? 🌲✨ Kathryn shares how watching a tree removal crew at work reminded her of God's power to transform our sins. "God disposes of all our sins just like that massive chipper, as thoroughly and dramatically." When we feel weighed down by guilt, remember that Jesus has already shredded our sins and hauled them away forever. "The Lord is compassionate and gracious... as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:8,12) Watch the full devotional here: https://youtu.be/DSZmBdl0quk How does this image of God's grace encourage you today? 🙏
