Let's start the month with a statistic and prevalence of violence against women.

According to the World Health Organization (Violence Against Women Prevalence Estimates, 2018) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (2017 National Demographic and Health Survey)
Violence against women remains a global and national crisis. Studies show that 56% of women who experience violence suffer from their intimate partners, while 44% experience violence outside intimate relationships. This reveals how deeply rooted the problem is within the spaces that should provide safety and trust.
