We proudly present the results of the recently concluded Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Full Public Disclosure (FPD) Policy validation!

πŸ“ŒPursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2023-068, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) is mandated to implement a Full Public Disclosure (FPD) policy for all SK-related documents. In line with the provisions of Republic Act No. 10742, this policy requires the creation of an SKFPD Policy Board and the regular posting of financial and other pertinent documents. The primary goal is to promote transparency and accountability in all SK transactions.

Look|| MLGOO Mary Flor M. Ilog accompanied Hon. Ferdinand P. Monday, Punong Barangay, together with Barangay Secretary Khristine C. Batao of Barangay Dapnan, Baganga, Davao Oriental, during the Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) Regional Assessment held on April 11, 2025 at the DILG XI LGRRC Conference Room, Matina, Davao City.

Barangay Dapnan proudly represents the Province of Davao Oriental as the regional entry under the 1st Class Municipalities category.

The LTIA assessment aims to recognize outstanding performance and innovations of Lupong Tagapamayapa in promoting peace, order, and the effective implementation of Katarungang Pambarangay. The activity was conducted to validate the barangay’s accomplishments and best practices in the delivery of amicable settlement services in the community.

MLGOO Mary Flor Ilog attended the Joint PCGLG-LGPRC MSAC Meeting and MOA Signing on April 2, 2025, at the Board Room of Davao Oriental State University, Mati City.

The activity marked the reactivation of the PCGLG and LGPRC-MSAC through Executive Order No. 1, s. 2025, highlighting the vital role of stakeholders in advancing local governance.

To further promote and strengthen the LGRC, the council concluded the meeting by passing a resolution recommending the establishment of Public Libraries in every LGU to serve as Local LGRCs.

To promote efficient barangay governance through digital transformation, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) - Davao Oriental, through MLGOO Mary Flor M. Ilog, along with ISR I Arrowaizah Mae T. Teodoro and Ms. Kheya Mae Sebog, conducted an Orientation on the Barangay Information Management System (BIMS) for all Barangay Secretaries of Baganga, Davao Oriental on February 21, 2025, at the SB Session Hall.

The orientation aimed to apprise Barangay Secretaries about the system and its benefits. BIMS is designed to streamline data management, enhance record-keeping, and improve overall administrative efficiency at the barangay level.
