Akala nila 👇👇👇👇👇

Akala nila,
pag sinabing "Pastor,"
laging naka-long sleeves,
laging naka formal na damit,
laging kalmado,
laging may sagot sa lahat ng tanong.

Akala nila,
hindi napapagod, hindi umiiyak, hindi nasasaktan at laging malakas.

Pero kung alam mo lang, kapatid…
ang totoong buhay ng pastor?

Huwag kang magugulat, ha…
hindi po yan laging “Hallelujah.”

Buhay Pastor, hindi madali.....

Oo, masarap maging pastor.
Lalo na pag may kainan sa church —
ikaw ang VIP sa pila,
at laging may nagbubulong: “Si pastor, unahin n’yo.”
minsan may prutas pa,
at kung blessed ka talaga —
may pa-love gift pa,
at minsan may pa T-shirt pa na may nakasulat na God bless you pastor

Pero aminado ako… malungkot din minsan.

Kasi kapag may emergency,
lahat may text sa’yo:

“Pastor, please pray for us...”

Parang wala kang karapatang mapagod,
wala kang room para madurog,
kasi “pastor ka eh.”
Pero ang totoo?
Tao ka rin at umiiyak rin.

At oo, totoo… mahirap maging pastor.

Hindi lang ito tungkol sa sermon.
Minsan feeling mo,

buong puso mong itinuro,
buong lakas mong ibinigay.

Tapos biglang may lalapit:

“Be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
(2 Chronicles 15:7)

“Pastor, pwede pong pa-pray?”
"Minsan tanungin mo rin:
“Pastor, okay ka po ba?”
“Pastor, nakapagpahinga ka ba?”
“Pastor, may problema ka ba?
"Pastor, ano po maitutulong ko?

Huwag mo ring kalimutang sabihing:

(1 Corinto 15:58)

God bless everyone

A masterpiece is still a masterpiece when the lights are off and the room is empty. Even without the applaud of people. So it's true, there is so much peace to winning in silence.

Because some of the most powerful transformations happen in hidden places... like in prayers whispered at night and in lessons learned when no one is looking. In fact, some of the strongest trees take root in silence, and some of the brightest stars are only seen when the world slows down.

It’s okay if no one claps. It’s okay if no one sees.

Just keep growing, dear. Let God reward you in secret. 🍂

Before we talk about modern ministry and false humility, let’s go back to a moment Jesus Himself pointed out.

In Luke 18, Jesus tells the story of two men who went to the temple to pray: a Pharisee and a publican (tax collector).
The Pharisee prayed aloud, saying, “Thank You, God, that I’m not like other men… even like this publican.” He thought he was being spiritual but his heart was filled with pride and comparison.
Meanwhile, the publican couldn’t even lift his eyes to heaven.
He simply said, “God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”

Jesus made it clear: it was the broken, honest man who was justified not the proud religious one.

And sadly, that kind of spirit still exists today.

As a youth who may not always be present in every outreach, but still make time for soul winning because I believe in the mission. But one thing that made me pause and reflect was something I kept hearing from a preacher:
“Pasensya na po, hindi ako magaling.”
Not once, not twice, but almost every time he preaches.

At first, it sounded like humility. Pero habang tumatagal, I started asking myself is it still humility or just a way to fish for sympathy?
What made it worse was when he started using people’s personal mistakes our own churchmates as sermon illustrations.
It didn’t edify; it EXPOSED!

Just like the Pharisee in the parable, his WORDS SOUNDED HOLY, but the heart revealed something else.

And I couldn’t help but think: Hindi ka magaling?
NO—YOU ARE, BECAUSE GOD IS IN YOU!
We don’t need to sound small to appear spiritual.
Confidence in Christ is not pride it’s knowing that the power working through you is not your own, but His.

Proverbs 27:2 (KJV)
“Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.”

Let’s check our hearts
Are we sharing God’s Word to build people up or to sound wise?
Are we telling stories that teach or stories that shame?

Real humility doesn't spotlight others’ faults to elevate a message.
It always leads others back to Christ not to ourselves.

Be honest, be humble, but let your words heal—not humiliate.

Luke 18:11 (KJV)
“The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are...”

Chronic stress doesn’t just affect your mind — it triggers real physical symptoms.
Kindness toward yourself isn't just good for your mental health. It directly affects your physical well-being, and whether there's long-term damage.
Chronic stress and anxiety can manifest in the body in troubling ways, leading to symptoms like heart palpitations, headaches, digestive issues, insomnia, and even skin breakouts.
These are more than just discomforts; they’re signals from your body that something’s out of balance.
When you're overwhelmed, it's okay to pause.
Taking time to relax—whether through deep breathing, a short walk, or simply saying no—helps reset your nervous system and lowers stress hormones. By practicing self-compassion and prioritizing rest, you’re not just nurturing your mind—you’re giving your body the care it needs to stay healthy and resilient.
