Student leaders from various youth organizations and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) were formally introduced at Bagong Silang National High School (BSNHS) on June 15, 2026 following the recently concluded organizational elections.
The newly selected leaders will serve different student organizations for School Year 2026โ2027, including Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB), Red Cross Youth Council (RCYC), Youth Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism in Schools (YECS) and Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O).
Also introduced during the activity were Norman Pitogo and Carlo Aynera, who were chosen as Grade 7 and Grade 11 SSLG representatives, respectively.
The activity likewise recognized students who represented BSNHS during the District Level Election held on June 13, 2026 at Sta. Cecilia Elementary School, Tagkawayan, Quezon. Recognized student leaders included Rizel Renacido (BKB Auditor), Jhaslyn Nicole Manalo (RCYC Public Information Officer), Anna Berden (YECS President), Rejel Ann Aguilar (YES-O Treasurer), Reina Ashyana Noveno (RCYC Protocol Officer), Kemark Fernandez (YECS Protocol Officer), and Majesygel Sarne (YES-O Protocol Officer).
In her message, Grade 11โPearl Adviser Maโam Nora Concepcion reminded the student leaders to uphold their responsibilities and remain committed to serving their fellow learners.
Prior to the election, candidates from the different organizations presented their platforms and proposed initiatives before fellow students. The election provided learners with the opportunity to select representatives who will help lead and support school programs throughout the academic year.
The activity underscored the importance of student leadership and participation as the newly selected officers begin carrying out their duties in the school community.
