𝗕𝗦𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀

Student leaders from various youth organizations and the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) were formally introduced at Bagong Silang National High School (BSNHS) on June 15, 2026 following the recently concluded organizational elections.

The newly selected leaders will serve different student organizations for School Year 2026–2027, including Barkada Kontra Bisyo (BKB), Red Cross Youth Council (RCYC), Youth Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism in Schools (YECS) and Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O).

Also introduced during the activity were Norman Pitogo and Carlo Aynera, who were chosen as Grade 7 and Grade 11 SSLG representatives, respectively.

The activity likewise recognized students who represented BSNHS during the District Level Election held on June 13, 2026 at Sta. Cecilia Elementary School, Tagkawayan, Quezon. Recognized student leaders included Rizel Renacido (BKB Auditor), Jhaslyn Nicole Manalo (RCYC Public Information Officer), Anna Berden (YECS President), Rejel Ann Aguilar (YES-O Treasurer), Reina Ashyana Noveno (RCYC Protocol Officer), Kemark Fernandez (YECS Protocol Officer), and Majesygel Sarne (YES-O Protocol Officer).

In her message, Grade 11–Pearl Adviser Ma’am Nora Concepcion reminded the student leaders to uphold their responsibilities and remain committed to serving their fellow learners.

Prior to the election, candidates from the different organizations presented their platforms and proposed initiatives before fellow students. The election provided learners with the opportunity to select representatives who will help lead and support school programs throughout the academic year.

The activity underscored the importance of student leadership and participation as the newly selected officers begin carrying out their duties in the school community.

Bagong Silang National High School (BSNHS) parents reaffirmed their trust in Mr. Arnel Asis to continue leading the General Parent-Teacher Association (GPTA) during the election of officers for School Year 2026–2027 held on June 10, 2026.

Joining Mr. Asis in the newly elected GPTA Executive Board are Mrs. Michelle Parale as Vice President, Mrs. Rhea Marquez as Secretary, Mrs. Rely Rosanes as Treasurer, Mrs. Rowena Borromeo as Auditor, Mrs. Shirley Dacumos as Public Information Officer, Mrs. Gina Rosanes and Mrs. Rosemarie Noveno as Project Managers. Grade-level representatives were also elected during the elections.

The activity brought together parents and school personnel in selecting a new set of officers who will work closely with the school in implementing programs and initiatives that support learners welfare and development.

In his message, Mr. Asis expressed gratitude for the continued trust and support of parents. He also called for stronger cooperation among families and the school in carrying out programs and activities that will benefit learners.

With a new set of officers and the continued leadership of Mr. Asis, the BSNHS GPTA is expected to further strengthen parent involvement and support school initiatives throughout the academic year.

On this 12th of June 2026, the nation stands united in commemorating the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence, honoring the bravery and sacrifices of our heroes who fought for the freedom we continue to enjoy today.

This celebration serves as a reminder of the enduring value of patriotism, unity and respect for our nation. As Filipinos, may we carry forward the legacy of our heroes not only in words, but in actions that reflect responsibility, compassion and service to others.

Freedom is a gift built through struggle, and it is our duty to preserve it by working together for a better future.

June 09, 2026 — The Schools Division Monitoring Team led by Engineer Sharmaine Cortas together with Sir Isagani H. Matibag, Tagkawayan District I Public Schools District Supervisor, Andrew Lancellot Aureus, Administrative Officer II of FY Salumbides, and Sir Joel Ronquillo, Head Teacher I of Del Rosario Elementary School , conducted a thorough monitoring and ocular inspection at Bagong Silang National High School in preparation for the opening of classes.

The monitoring activity focused on assessing school readiness in terms of physical facilities, learning resources, teaching assignments, and safety measures to ensure a smooth and orderly opening of the new school year.
