Nothing to worry. We will be proclaimed, not now, but soon.

We welcome this decision by the COMELEC to suspend our proclamation. It is the right thing to do dahil may pending decision pa na hinihintay. Uulitin ko po, ito ay suspension lang ng ating proclamation. Wala pong boto na nasayang at masasayang because our votes are intact. A case was filed against me last year questioning my citizenship again, sumagot na po tayo dito at naghihintay na lang ng resolution ng COMELEC. Wala pong merits ang kasong naisampa and we have no reason to think na matatalo tayo. Noong 2021, may similar disqualification case din po na isinampa sa atin at nanalo po tayo sa mga yun.

Nagagalit daw po ba ako sa nangyayari? Hindi po. We endured all the frustrations and pain caused by nonstop attack during the campaign period, and this is nothing compared to that. 144,093 people voted para ituloy natin ang nasimulan natin and I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you who believed in me. This is not a reward but a renewal of responsibility and I am not competing against anybody but myself. I want to challenge myself to improve and produce better results and I am commited to do that. As I have said, the next three years will be the golden years of Benguet. Sana tulungan niyo po ako.

I would also like to congratulate my partner in service, Governor Melchor Diclas on your reelection. It is my belief that on your last term as our Governor, Benguet will rise further to places we've never been to before. To our incoming Vice Governor Marie Rose Fongwan Kepes, I have full trust in you that you will do an exceptional job in your new role. You are built for this and I will be with you along the way. To our fellow candidates, I extend my hand of unity and collaboration - may we all stand together to advance the interests of all our kakailyans.

Above all, thank you Lord God for everything.

First and foremost, I would like to thank our God Almighty for His guidance and for granting us a peaceful, orderly, and safe election.

To the people of our beloved province of Benguet, kakailiyan, thank you once again for your overwhelming support. Your voices, your votes, and your dreams have inspired me to serve another term with even greater passion and responsibility. This victory is a reflection of our collective dream for a better, more progressive, and HEALTHIER province.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank our fellow elected officials, those who are newly elected and those returning, from our Congressman Eric Go Yap, Vice Governor-elect Marie Rose Fongwan-Kepes, our board members, down to mayors, vice mayors, and councilors. I am looking forward to serving shoulder to shoulder with you with dedication and the heart to serve our people with selflessness, and ensure that every decision we make caters to the welfare of our people.

As we continue with our plans and aspirations guided by our HEALTHIER Benguet agenda, we commit to uphold the values of transparency, accountability, and compassionate service. With the guidance of the Almighty and your continued support, we will strive to push our initiatives further and strengthen our programs for the benefit of every iBenguet.
