The title of this is “Pocket Full of Sunshine” and upon looking, one would be open to their own interpretation as that’s another beauty of the arts… It becomes a conversation piece as it should… Whereas for my take, it imparts a positive message amidst the onslaught of habagat (and current events, political issues and whatnots). Despite the seemingly gloomy season which usually dampens our spirits, we should still be full of Hopefulness, Optimism, Positivity, Enlightenment (HOPE) for what’s ahead or could possibly be for all its worth… It’s a reminder worth hanging in your walls… Check out the other paintings at The Jade Gallery, 3rd Fl., Hotel Supreme Mall & Events Center. It’ll be up until the 30th of September 2026…

The first of many… ARTbangan!

Every beginning carries its own light.

This August, The Jade Gallery opens its doors at the 3rd Floor of Hotel Supreme Mall & Events Center, introducing a new space dedicated to art, expression, and creative dialogue.

To mark its opening, the gallery presents FIRST LIGHT, its inaugural exhibition featuring the works of five select artists:

Opening on August 28, 2026, First Light brings together distinct artistic voices for the first exhibition to illuminate the walls of The Jade Gallery.

The exhibition will run until September 30, 2026.

‘G’ in GCash is “Going”

“When the going gets tough, the tough gets going” as the saying goes… and we did go. And in tough times or otherwise, there’s one convenience we go for. GCash.

But more than the convenience though, it has become a way of life. In the process, we get to save on extra effin’ (F) outlays: Fare, Fuel, Fees, (even) ‘Ffort and so Forth…

Thus, “in support”, in life’s ABCs, ‘G’ comes after ‘F’ like there’s sunshine after the rain. No need to commute or gas up on bank/ATM withdrawals or any other inconvenience and additional procedural steps.

While “G” in today’s generational expression is for “Go!”, GCash’s ‘G’ is more than that signification of some steady “Time to Go” as it’s constantly “on the go”. Going indeed.

Accordingly, it’s “going” faster, better, smarter… hindi “mamaya” na, Going for those Gs: Groceries, Goods, Galavanting, Gimmick, Gas, Grab, even Going for Gold or your Goal, Grinding, Going Global, for whatever Generation or whatever you could Google perhaps, it’s steadily ‘Going’…

More so, there’s also “Grow” through their GSave as they’re likewise a bank that has a higher interest rate if only for you to be able to save more)…
