FEATURES | Grieving death is one thing, denying it happened is another
When our minds begin to crumble under the weight of grief, their last desperate attempt to offer us a glimpse of hope is to deny everything. Through denial acts, it becomes a shield for survival, a way to hold ourselves together when everything else has fallen apart. The world will not wait for anyone— it will keep turning while the mind tries to buy time away from the cruel patterns of reality. In a hushed aftermath of loss, denial becomes a language the mind speaks when the truth of loss is too heavy to name.
