OPINION | Empty Chairs and Empty Ballots

"This year’s voter turnout, roughly a 5 percent decrease from last year, according to the UP Baguio Commission on Elections (COMELEC), is an example of such rising disinterest. NOW HAPPENING: PE Night For a Cause at the Himansyo Amianan, May 24.

The event will last from 6:00pm, featuring performances from various UPB PE2 students such as folk dance, line dance, taekwondo, arnis, and many more. These are to raise funds for various UPB varsities, including their water and medical expenses.

The event also includes special performances from UPB’s Cheer Squad, dance troupe Shadows, and KEEP UP.

An award ceremony will take place towards the end of the event, with HKP Faculty acting as judges.
