VA Interview? Don’t Sabotage Yourself.
You’ve done the work.
You’ve taken courses, built your portfolio, maybe even rehearsed your answers.
But sometimes, it’s not your skills that hold you back—it’s what you *say* during the interview. 😬
Let’s fix that.
Here are a few things you might be saying (na akala mo okay lang)… but could be turning clients off 👇
---
❌ “Kaya ko po kahit ano.”
✅ “I specialize in \[your niche], like \[admin tasks, content, etc.], but I’m also open to learning related tasks to support your business better.”
🔍 Why it works:
Clients like clarity. They want to know your strengths—not a laundry list of “pwede lahat.”
---
❌ “Wala pa po akong experience…”
✅ “I haven’t worked with paying clients yet, but I’ve created sample projects and trained consistently to build my skills. I’m ready to apply them in real-world work.”
🔍 Why it works:
This shows initiative. You’re not highlighting your lack, you’re showing your effort.
---
❌ “Masipag at mabait po ako.”
✅ “I’m detail-oriented and consistent. I use tools like Google Calendar and Trello to stay organized and meet deadlines.”
🔍 Why it works:
Clients want results, not just personality traits. Give them proof you can deliver.
---
❌ “Kayo na po bahala sa rate.”
✅ “My standard rate for this role is \[\$X], but I’m happy to discuss depending on the scope and long-term setup.”
🔍 Why it works:
It shows confidence and professionalism. No guessing games.
---
❌ Oversharing or going off-topic
✅ “I’m a general VA focused on \[niche]. I’ve handled tasks like \[examples], and I love helping businesses stay organized and efficient.”
🔍 Why it works:
Keep it clear, short, and relevant. Hindi nila kailangan malaman life story mo—yet. 😉

Last Note:
VA interviews aren’t about saying the “perfect” thing.
They’re about being grounded, prepared, and clear about your value.
So don’t sabotage yourself.
Speak with direction.
Show up with confidence.
You’re ready for this. ✨
