— This is a child’s Filipiniana (baro’t saya) with butterfly sleeves, a modernized yet traditional Filipino cultural dress.

Butterfly Sleeves: The short, puffed or wing-like sleeves are the most recognizable feature of the Filipiniana, a national dress of the Philippines.

Two-Piece Look: The outfit has a blouse (baro) and a long skirt (saya), which are traditional elements of the baro’t saya.

Fabric & Pattern: While traditional Filipiniana often used piña or jusi fabric, this one uses a patterned blue-and-white fabric, making it a modern and simpler version — often worn by children in cultural events or school programs.
