Empowering Communities through Sustainable Livelihoods

On July 21, 2026, the Community Extension Office of LPU-Batangas signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Gulod Labak, Batangas City, in partnership with the Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (Kalipi) Women’s Organization at the Multimedia Room, SHL Building.

This partnership supports the community’s dishwashing liquid a livelihood project, providing not only training and technical assistance but also sustained entrepreneurial opportunities that boost local women and strengthen household income. Through this tie-up, LPU-Batangas maintain its commitment to empowering communities by fostering skills development, promoting sustainable livelihood practices, and building stronger collaborations that contribute to long-term economic growth and social resilience.

Through this initiative, LPU-Batangas continues to extend its mission of service beyond the campus but building meaningful partnerships that promote empowerment, economic growth, and sustainable development.

Strengthening Partnerships for Service

On July 21, 2026, the Community Extension Office of LPU-Batangas officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Red Cross-Batangas Chapter at the Multimedia Room, SHL Building.

This partnership strengthens our collaboration for blood donation drives, ensuring that Lyceans continue to be active partners in saving lives. Through this tie-up, the University commits to organizing regular bloodletting activities, encouraging students, faculty, staff and alumni to become voluntary donors, and raising awareness on the importance of blood donation in sustaining healthcare and emergency response.

The MOA signing marks another milestone in LPU-Batangas mission to extend its impact beyond the campus, fostering a culture of service and solidarity. By working hand in hand with the Philippine Red Cross-Batangas Chapter, the Community Extension Office continues to uphold the values of social responsibility and meaningful engagement empowering Lyceans to make a difference in the lives of many.
