SANTACRUZAN SA GITNA NG ULAN

Sa kabila ng malakas na pagbuhos ng ulan, nagpatuloy ang banal na pagdaraos ng Santacruzan sa bayan ng San Juan nitong ika-13 ng Setyembre. Hindi natinag, bagkus ay lalo pang pinagtibay ng malakas na ulan ang pananampalataya at debosyon ng mga San Juaneño sa Poong San Juan Nepomuceno, kasabay ng paggunita at pagdiriwang rin ng bayan sa Triumph of the Holy Cross.

Batangas City's art scene just got a little more colorful!

On August 8, BAGSIK—the province's first established art group—hosted an exclusive soft pastel workshop at the Classique Pan Oriental Hotel and Resort. Led by the internationally acclaimed visual artist Glenn E. Perez, the event gave local artists a rare chance to step out of their comfort zones, master delicate techniques, and explore a completely different medium.

It is always great to see organizations like BAGSIK continuing to nurture and elevate local Batangueño talent!

Experience a brilliant fusion of landscapes and the mind at TANAW AT GUNI-GUNI, a special art exhibit showcasing the masterpieces of Toshi Ilagan and Clint Sanohan! Presented by the Batangas Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office (PTCAO).

Join the community for the Opening Reception on August 17, 2026, at 10 AM at the PTCAO Lobby, Provincial Capitol Grounds, Batangas City. The exhibit will be open to the public and runs until August 27, 2026.

HUMAN MILK DEPOT SA SM CITY BATANGAS

Inilunsad sa SM City Batangas ang kauna-unahang Human Milk Depot sa Southern Luzon nitong August 12, 2026.

Dinagsa ang aktibidad ng mahigit 100 ina kasama ang kanilang mga sanggol para sa milk letting activity at breast milk donation, bilang bahagi ng HAKAB'TA 2026, isang nationwide breastfeeding activity, na may temang "Strengthening Breastfeeding Support through Human Milk Donation and Partnership."

Kasabay nito, nilagdaan ng SM City Batangas, SM Cares, Batangas Medical Center Human Milk Bank, at Batangas City Health Office ang isang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) na layuning mas palakasin ang suporta sa mga breastfeeding mothers at mga sanggol na nangangailangan ng ligtas na donor milk. Bahagi ito ng pagsusulong ng mas maayos at accessible na sistema ng human milk donation drive sa lungsod ng Batangas.

Ang SM City Batangas Human Milk Depot ang ika-pitong Human Milk Depot ng SM Supermalls at kauna-unahan sa Southern Luzon.
