📖 Ezekiel 15:6
Therefore thus saith the Lord God; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

A vine without fruit is only fit for fire. God compared Jerusalem to a fruitless vine: meant for His glory but wasted in rebellion. Our lives, too, are meant to bear fruit for Him. Without abiding in Christ, all our efforts lead to emptiness. But when we remain in Him, we bear fruit that lasts. 🌿💚

Let us bring honor to the One who planted and sustained us. 🙌🏻

"And they shall comfort you, when ye see their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord God."

God’s judgments on Israel were not random or cruel. They were just and purposeful. He wanted His people to see their sin clearly and know that He is the Lord. 🙌🏻💯

Even in His discipline, there is love. What He allows has purpose. May we trust His hand, even when we don’t fully see the reason. 🌅

"And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:"

God promised restoration to a scattered and rebellious people. He would replace their hard hearts with soft ones and unite them under His Spirit. 💖🙌🏻

Real transformation doesn’t start with our effort but with God’s renewing work within. He makes us new and draws us back to Himself. 🌱🤍

"The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the Lord."

Ezekiel declared God’s coming judgment on a nation that trusted in wealth, leaders, and idols instead of Him. When everything crumbled, one truth remained: the Lord is God. ☝🏻💯

May we not wait until everything else collapses before turning to Him. Let us bow in humility, trust His Word, and live with hearts fully surrendered only to Him. 🙌🏻💖

"Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me."

A watchman stays alert for danger and sounds the alarm. God calls His people to be spiritual watchmen, faithfully warning, guiding, and pointing others back to Him. ➡️✝️

May we not stay silent when others need the truth. 📢📜

"And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious."

In Ezekiel’s time, God was sending him to a rebellious nation who would often reject His truth. Yet the prophet’s task was not to persuade or win favor but to faithfully deliver God’s Word. 📜🗣️

We are called to speak His truth with courage even when hearts resist. Our comfort is that the power lies not in our words, but in God’s Word. He asks us to be faithful messengers, leaving the results in His hands. 🙌🏻✨

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

Jerusalem lay in ruins, the people suffered under judgment, yet Jeremiah looked beyond the ashes. He found hope in God’s mercy. Every morning was proof that Israel was not utterly forsaken. God’s love still stood. 🙏🏻✨

In our hardest seasons, His mercy greets us anew each day. Let us place our hope in our faithful God. 🌄

"The Lord hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God."

In the middle of Babylon’s downfall, God’s people were reminded that it was His righteousness and deliverance that set them apart. Their task was simple: return to Zion and testify of what God had done. 💯

In every season, we are called to do the same: give glory to His saving hand. 🙌🏻💖

"In those days, and in that time, saith the Lord, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve."

What a picture of God’s grace! When He forgives, He doesn’t leave behind a trace. His pardon is complete. 🤍✨

Let’s live in that freedom today, not chained by our past, but walking in the tune and joy of His mercy. 🚶🏻‍♂️🎶

"But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid."

Even when God’s people were scattered and far from home, He promised His saving hand. Exile is not a thing in His presence and protection. 🛡️🫂

He is the God who rescues, restores, and brings His people back. ☝🏻💯
