The Allied Battle Lab in Red Alert 2 is the highest-tier technology structure, serving as the gateway to the faction's most advanced and powerful infantry units. It unlocks the production of elite units like the Chrono Legionnaire (who teleports across the map) and Tanya (the demolition specialist, though she only requires the Battle Lab and not the building's active production function). Furthermore, the Battle Lab is a critical target for enemy Spies; if a Spy infiltrates an Allied Battle Lab, the capturing Spy gains the ability to produce the exclusive Chrono Commando unit, which possesses powerful, time-displacing offensive capabilities.
