Tambolista

Di tulad ng mga karaniwang tambol, ang kanya’y yari sa kawayan at lata. Sa bawat hampas ng kanyang kamay, sumasabay ang musika ng kabataan sa pista--musika na sa kanya’y hindi lamang tugtugin, kundi mundo niyang sariling nililikha.

Hindi ko maipaliwanag ang saya habang pinagmamasdan ang galing niya sa pagtambol gamit lamang ang mga simpleng bagay na madalas ay binabalewala natin. Ngunit sa kanyang talento, nag-uumapaw ang inspirasyon.

Kung sana’y talento agad ang batayan ng oportunidad, marahil mas marami ang aangat mula sa mapait na kapalaran. Hindi lang sana yung kilala o malapit ang kinikilala, kundi bawat batang may pangarap at galing na naghihintay lamang mapansin.

Agad kong hinanap ang barya sa aking bulsa at ibinigay ko sa kanya, kasabay ng katagang: “God bless you, Balong.”

At tulad ng tugtugin ng tambol, sana’y dumating din ang panahon na sumakto ang kanyang buhay sa tamang rhythm ng maayos na buhay.

I've carried this dream for so long - to stand on top of the mountains and capture a photograph where every emotion washes over me as I look into the distance and I feel.... the world slow down.

The golden hour has always been my call to rise before dawn, for in its light I see a beauty no words can express. As long as I live and my eyes can behold such wonders, I will thank God for giving me the gift of appreciation, one that cannot be be shaken, for it comes from knowing He Himself crafted this masterpiece. A scene I will cherish for a lifetime, and one I will never get tired of photographing.

Hindi mo kailangang lumayo para makakita ng ganda. Minsan, sapat na ang pagtigil, pagtingin, at pagpapasalamat sa paligid na mayroon ka. Andyan lang pala ang ganda, tahimik lang siyang naghihintay na mapansin mo.

☕ Kape Muna sa Bangan Hill

I remember my childhood days during Holy Week—we used to climb up here, curious to see what this place held. Back then, it was all about exploring and discovering.

Now, it has become a beautiful spot to enjoy a cup of coffee, relax, and rejuvenate. Sarap sa pakiramdam. It’s nostalgic—bringing back memories—and at the same time, it’s the perfect place to unwind from daily stress.

Back in high school (I graduated from NVSU High), my friends and I would come here just to look for bayabas. Simple joys.

Big thanks to the Lgu Bayombong Nueva Vizcaya for reviving and opening this wonderful place again. 🌿☕

Ambaguio

Coffee in hand, sunrise on the horizon, and the majestic mountain ranges of Ambaguio embracing the moment. There’s nothing like starting the day surrounded by nature’s calm and beauty.

More grateful morning like this in my home province, Nueva Vizcaya.

How much I love Saudi Arabia is the reason I’ve fought to stay. My second family and my dear friends have made this place feel like home. Now, if it’s truly time for me to let go, I feel deeply honored to have spent nearly a decade in this wonderful country. I will not leave with hate. I will not leave with pain. I will leave carrying the beautiful memories I’ve made here.

The Lord is my victory. I love you, Saudi Arabia, for opening your doors to me—for helping me heal when I was lost for years. You gave me hope when life seemed to be giving up on me.

Thank You, God, for everything. If Saudi Arabia is still part of my journey, I know You will make a way for me to stay longer. But if not, the memories will always remain in my heart.
