NVSU-Bay Campus Concludes Flag Ceremony for the last Monday of the month of October

The College of Teacher Education Student Council together with the officers from the CTE College-based Organizations from NVSU-Bay Campus led and participated in the flag-raising ceremony on October 28, 2024, at 7:00 AM, infront of the new admin building. The event was attended by all teaching and non-teaching personnel.

The flag raising ceremony, a significant event in the university calendar, featured the usual elements of a formal flag-raising: the invocation, singing of the national anthem, and oaths of allegiance. In addition, the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn, the ASEAN Hymn, and the NVSU Hymn were also sung, reflecting the university’s commitment to national identity and regional cooperation.

A highlight of the ceremony was the delivery of the College of Teacher Education's accomplishment report for the academic year 2023-2024 by the CTESC Governor, John Paul L. Andaya. The report detailed the college's achievements and outlined upcoming activities planned for 2025. This provided the attendees with valuable insights into the progress made and future plans for the College of Teacher Education.

The event concluded with updates and announcements, followed by an inspirational message from our humble University President, Sir Wilfredo A. Dumale, Jr., leaving attendees feeling motivated and informed as they embark on the new academic year. To wrap it up, the CTE also serves a warm meal of porridge to start the day with a blast of energy.

CTE-SC spearheads this year's Teachers’ Day Celeb

The College of Teacher Education Student Council sparked a special Teachers’ Day celebration on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at the CTE lobby to celebrate the faculty's hard work and perseverance.
Enthemed “Celebrating the Unsung Heroes of Education," the program commenced with the dramatic exit of teachers from their offices to the lobby of the building where the students prepared to hold the party.

As the program began, officers and members from each student organization offered heartwarming messages honoring the teachers for the patience and wisdom they showed the students inside and outside the confines of the classroom. The atmosphere at the college was filled with laughter and joy as the teachers were given entertaining performances, games with prizes, and gifts.

Spearheaded by the college’s governor, John Paul L. Andaya, the student council treated the teachers to a sumptuous lunch.
While lunch was served, teachers belted out their favorite songs to entertain fellow teachers and the students.

As the program concluded, the dean, Dr. William D. Magday, Jr., gave his words of appreciation to the student council and the officers and members of the different student organizations.
