A new journey begins. 🌿✈️

I raised this Dwarf Jade from a small cutting four months ago, and today, it’s officially moving to its new home. From my shelf in Biñan, Laguna, all the way to San Fernando, La Union.

It’s bittersweet to see it go, but I’m so happy it’s heading to a new caretaker who will love it just as much as I did. Please take care of it, little one—I can't wait to see how you grow in your new home!

Sometimes, the simplest projects bring the most peace. Loving how the driftwood and lava rock look together. Adding some Java Moss and variegated pothos to finish it off. Can’t wait to see how this mini ecosystem grows in!

Who says bonsai pots have to be traditional? ☕🌿

​I decided to repurpose this Dunkin’ Donuts ceramic mug into a home for my Dwarf Jade. I love the "cliffsider" look of the cascade style against the fun, everyday vibe of the mug!

​It’s definitely a unique addition to my collection and a reminder that you don’t need expensive gear to start practicing the art of bonsai. Sometimes, all you need is a little creativity.

From a single root cutting to this little character. 🌿✨

They say patience is the most important tool in bonsai, and this Mini Argao Taiwan is the proof. It started as nothing more than a simple root cutting, and after some time and a lot of patience, it’s shaped into this curvy little tree.

I’m so proud of how those curves turned out. It’s a humble start, but it’s becoming one of my favorite pieces in my miniature collection!

From a tiny seed to this little treasure. 🌱

I honestly lost track of exactly when I planted this mini papaya tree, but seeing it now, I’m so glad I started. It’s amazing how something so small can grow into such a unique, quirky little tree.

I might not know its birthday, but I know how much character it has developed over time. It’s one of the most rewarding parts of my miniature collection—knowing I was there from day one.

Trying my hand at a classic cascade style. 🌿🧗‍♂️

​Today’s project: styling this Dwarf Jade into a cascade shape. There’s something so poetic about a tree that looks like it’s growing off the side of a cliff.

​I’m pairing it with this beautiful Japanese-designed pot—the height of the pot really allows the branches to "fall" naturally. I’m still learning the best ways to wire and shape, but I’m really happy with how this little one is turning out!

I’m really starting to appreciate the weird and wonderful shapes of miniature plants. This Euphorbia cylindrifolia is my latest addition, and I love how its leaves reach out like a tiny, prehistoric tree.

​As a beginner, I’m just enjoying the process of watching it settle into its new mini pot. It doesn't take up much space, but it definitely adds a lot of character to the shelf!

Small tree, big personality. 🌿
There is something so rewarding about finding the perfect pairing for a new tree. This Dwarf Pandakaki has officially found its home in a beautiful glazed pot, featuring a golden abstract bird design that catches the light just right.

The deep green foliage looks stunning against the intricate gold details, but I’m most excited for the next stage. These little trees produce such delicate, star-shaped white flowers—I’ll be sure to share an update and show you all once it starts blooming! 🌸
