The Windows Close

The windows close,
As the wind runs with thunder.
Not even a candle lights up
This home that's prone to suffer.

The rain hushes the laughter,
And drowns even the crying hunger.
The news declared the flood rose past the meter,
As we all bowed down in prayer.

The windows close,
Yet hope knocks to enter.
The windows close,
What's lost can't be recovered.

The windows close,
But not the arms of a mother.
The windows close,
And still we lean on one another.

But God reached those who knelt in pain
And held their hope through wind and rain.
Their faith, though tested, still remained—
The windows won’t ever close again.

Ngunit bago pa man ang opisyal na deklarasyon, kumilos na ang Pamahalaang Bayan ng Bocaue sa pangunguna ni Vice Mayor Atty. Sherwin Tugna at mga kawani ng munisipyo upang agad na tugunan ang mga pangangailangan ng mga apektadong residente.

JUST IN: As of 8:00 AM today, July 23, 2025, Tropical Depression “DANTE” has intensified into a Tropical Storm, according to the latest update from DOST-PAGASA.

Meanwhile, LPA 07h inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has developed into Tropical Depression “EMONG.” Another weather disturbance, LPA 07i outside PAR, is being closely monitored due to its HIGH potential to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

Stay alert and monitor official updates from DOST-PAGASA for further developments.
