From what I’ve been seeing lately, one specific Battle of the Sound is drifting in the wrong direction.

Battle of the Sound is NOT gambling.
It is NOT a betting ring.
And it is definitely NOT an ego contest.

Lately, there’s a growing issue in the scene—sound battles are slowly being dragged into wagers, side bets, and money challenges. This shift is unhealthy. Once money becomes the focus, decisions get biased, tempers flare, and respect disappears. What used to be friendly competition turns into personal conflict.

On top of that, some sound owners have become overly arrogant, constantly poking and provoking others—online and on-site. Instead of sharing knowledge or pushing the scene forward, they choose to belittle, bait, and create drama. That behavior doesn’t elevate anyone; it only damages the community we all rely on.

Battle of the Sound should be about:

tuning skills, not cash

performance, not provocation

improvement, not intimidation

Healthy competition builds better systems and better people. Gambling and arrogance only build division.

This is not an attack—it’s feedback from someone who cares about the scene. If we want this community to grow, we need to check our direction now before it’s too late.

Bring back respect, sportsmanship, and real camaraderie.
Sound should unite us—not tear us apart.
