WHY NOW IS THE RIGHT TIME TO INVEST IN TALIBON (Part 1)

In simple terms, investing involves giving up resources in exchange for the possibility of receiving greater benefits in the future. These resources can include money, assets, or services that are needed for a project to succeed.

Investment plays a key role in the development of communities as it creates many opportunities, especially in job creation and government revenue.

Talibon Through the Years

Talibon is consistently an award-winning LGU-First Class Municipality including the Most Competitive LGU for the entire Bohol, National Rice Achiever Award, Best LGU Implementing an Outstanding Sustainable Livelihood Program under Micro Enterprise Development Model, and more.

Just last May, LGU-Talibon added another milestone to its committed service by achieving the PHALGA (Philippines Association of Local Government Accountants) Award of Excellence (2023).

Is TPC a municipal or national gov institution?

The answer is municipal or Municipality of Talibon. An LGU college groom to become a university soon.

TPC is one of the only 6 LUCs (Local Universities & Colleges) in Bohol that passed the rigorous requirements of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) to qualify for the FHE (Free Higher Education) and TES (Tertiary Education Subsidy) program which includes subsidizing tuition and more.

“The Commission is committed to fully implementing RA 10931 to increase access to higher education so that more Filipino students, particularly those coming from the poor families, can go to college with government support,” CHED chairman J. Prospero E. De Vera III said in a statement. “CHED will continue to monitor the compliance of these LUCs with respect to their operation as an HEI and the offering of programs, and assist them as needed to ensure that they will provide quality education,” he added (source PNA)
