The Trinidad Municipal College Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit (TMC ROTCU) proudly held its Cadet Officer Candidate Course (COCC) 2025 Acceptance Rites on October 18, 2025, at PMA Sideview Beach Resort, Bien Unido, Bohol. This significant event marked the official transition of aspirants into cadets, signifying their readiness to embrace the values of leadership, discipline, and service to the institution and the nation.

The ceremony stood as a symbol of courage and perseverance, highlighting the candidates’ unwavering determination throughout their training journey. As they don the mantle of cadetship, these young leaders are now prepared to uphold the ideals of excellence and responsibility, continuing the proud legacy of the Trinidad Municipal College ROTCU.

Behind every smiling teacher is a force—a strength that keeps going, even when choices are few and challenges are many. A teacher’s effort to face the class each day cannot be measured by hours or grades.
They face the realities of life head-on, but in front of their students, they wear hope and kindness as their uniform.

This Teachers’ Day, may we remember that behind every smiling teacher is a heart that beats for every learner. Their laughter hides exhaustion, their lessons carry love, and their presence shapes futures. They are the quiet heroes of every classroom—strong, selfless, and endlessly giving.

‎On October 8, 2025, at the Trinidad Cultural Center, we came together to honor two remarkable occasions — Teachers' Day 2025 and the birthday celebration of our beloved Municipal Mayor, Hon. Atty. Roberto C. Cajes, PhD.

‎The event was filled with joy, heartfelt tributes, songs, and tokens of appreciation for our dedicated teachers, alongside warm birthday greetings for Mayor Cajes, whose leadership and compassion continue to inspire the community.
‎
‎Truly, it was a day that celebrated wisdom, service, and the heart of true leadership.

𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 | Teachers as Moss

In nature’s silence, these green carpet
thrives to grow,
unseen, and slow, turns rock hard to soft.
Spreading gently in unexpected places.
In no perfect conditions, it doesn’t bloom,
yet it is full of life.

Mostly they are overlooked, seen as just weedy.
Some may appreciate its dappled glow.
And to me, I hail its persistent work.

You may have wonder why.
But I fond nature and see those little life with value,
and realized teachers are like moss too.
They’re the world’s velvet, serving to teach,
and the mantle of our growth.

For this field, kindles me a steady passion,
not in a fire that easily flickers,
but with calm and steady outlook.
Adapt in any conditions
like moss in nature; teachers in school.

I am beyond grateful, our gentle carpets!

Today, October 3, 2025, the Criminology Interns of Trinidad Municipal College conducted a General Cleaning Activity within the campus grounds as part of their community engagement and service-learning program under the Internship Program.

The activity promoted cleanliness, discipline, and a sense of responsibility among students, while also contributing to the upkeep of the school environment through teamwork and cooperation.

Today, September 29, 2025, all classes at Trinidad Municipal College will switch to an asynchronous online format in order to accommodate the Office of the Municipal Mayor's required Seminar on Mental Health Awareness and Road Safety (Memorandum No. 57, Series of 2025).

To guarantee a consistent class setup for all students, this is applicable for the entire day, including classes that are scheduled outside of the seminar hours.

This adjustment is intended to support the success of the activity and promote the welfare of all participants. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
