FINSP WAGNER A KAMLIAN, MPA, Municipal Fire Marshal of Bongao Central Fire Station, together with SFO1 Rosevie R Asdala, Chief of Operations of the Office of the Provincial Fire Marshal, actively participated in the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) meeting, presided over by the Honorable Mayor JASPER S. QUE.

During the session, various agencies presented their accomplishments. FINSP WAGNER A KAMLIAN proudly shared the notable achievements of BFP Tawi-Tawi, which included updates on fire incidents, asset development, and other operational milestones that reflect the organization's unwavering commitment to public safety.

A remarkable highlight of the meeting was Mayor Jasper S. Que’s generous commitment to donate a 1,000-square-meter lot for the construction of the City Fire Station in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi. This forthcoming donation stands as a significant contribution to enhancing the fire protection services in the municipality and is a testament to the mayor’s strong support for community safety and resilience.

FIRE SAFETY SEMINAR AND FIRE EXIT DRILL

The Bongao Central Fire Station, spearheaded by FINSP WAGNER A KAMLIAN, MFM, under the supervision of FSINSP ATTY. MOHAMMAD HUSSEIN J LADJAGAIS, Provincial Fire Marshal, successfully conducted a Fire Safety Seminar and Fire Exit Drill at the headquarters 2nd Marine Brigade, Sanga Sanga, Bongao, Tawi Tawi.

The seminar aimed to enhance the knowledge and preparedness of the troops in the event of fire and other emergencies. The following topics were discussed during the session:

- General Concepts of Basic Firefighting
- Proper Use of Fire Extinguishers and LPG Safety
- Fire Safety in Residential Occupancies
- Emergency Medical Response During Fires and Disasters
- Emergency Response Procedures
- Practical Fire Safety Tips

After the lectures, a Fire Exit Drill was conducted with the 2nd Marine Brigade personnel. This activity is designed to improve their ability to respond quickly and safely during fire incidents, ensuring a well-organized evacuation process in case of emergencies.

This collaborative effort reflects the unwavering commitment of the Bureau of Fire Protection to empower partner agencies and communities through continuous fire safety education and emergency preparedness.

1. Updates on the Proposed City Fire Station Lot
Discussions were made regarding the lot intended for the future City Fire Station, which is set to be donated by the Municipal Government of Bongao. This development will play a crucial role in enhancing fire protection services in the municipality.

2. Daily Firefighting Operations and Staff Preparedness
The operational readiness of the Bongao Central Fire Station, including ongoing daily firefighting duties and the preparedness level of its personnel, was presented to ensure continued safety and efficiency in emergency response.

The meeting highlighted the strong partnership between the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Local Government Unit in building a safer and more resilient Bongao.

IN PHOTOS I 2ND QUARTER NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED)

The Bongao Central Fire Station, headed by SFO4 Wagner A Kamlian, MPA, Municipal Fire Marshal, under the leadership of FSINSP MOHAMMAD HUSSEIN J LADJAGAIS, Provincial Fire Marshal, played a pivotal role in the successful ex*****on of the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), organized by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) headed by Al-Gibran I. Amilasan, RN, MPA, AEMT, held at TRAC, Nalil, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, served as a crucial exercise in preparedness and response coordination.

The MDRRMO meticulously planned and prepared, ensuring all personnel were briefed on their designated roles and responsibilities. The team underwent rigorous training exercises, focusing on swift and efficient response mechanisms in the event of an actual earthquake. This proactive approach significantly enhanced the team's ability to react effectively under pressure and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.

The fire station's active participation underscores it's commitment to disaster reduction risk and management reinforcing it's role as a key responder in emergency situation. And the coordination with other emergency response teams. Their performance highlighted the importance of inter-agency collaboration and the seamless integration of resources.
