ESSU, SMCB HM Departments Collaborate to Host UEP Reunion

The Hospitality Management departments of Eastern Samar State University (ESSU) and St. Mary’s College of Borongan (SMCB) joined forces on August 15, 2025 to host the grand reunion of batches 1982, 1983, and 1984 of the University of Eastern Philippines (UEP).

The event brought together alumni from across the decades, celebrating camaraderie, shared memories, and the enduring bond with their alma mater. The collaboration between ESSU and SMCB showcased the students’ skills in hospitality and event management, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.

BORONGAN CITY — The Board of Trustees of St. Mary’s College of Borongan held its meeting this afternoon, August 15, 2025, at the Marian Hotel.

The session brought together members of the board to discuss key institutional matters, review ongoing projects, and plan future initiatives aimed at strengthening the school’s academic programs and community engagement.

St. Mary’s College of Borongan Participates in 1st NSTP Educators & Implementers Congress

TACLOBAN CITY — St. Mary’s College of Borongan, represented by Mr. Antonio Norombaba, participated in the 1st NSTP Educators & Implementers Congress in Region VIII at Eastern Visayas State University on August 9, 2025. The event, themed “NSTP in Action: Forging Collaborative Pathways for Nation-Building,” offered workshops and discussions that strengthened educators’ capacity to implement NSTP programs effectively. The college is grateful for the opportunity to engage with fellow educators and reaffirm its commitment to nurturing socially responsible and civic-minded students.
