A beautiful reminder from Bishop Crispin Varquez that when God is present in our lives, even the hardest journey becomes a little lighter, and earth feels a little more like heaven. And sometimes, God lets us experience that heaven through people like him, through their faith, their kindness, and the lives they touch through service..

After 19 years of serving the Diocese of Borongan, Bishop Bai now takes on a new assignment, not without the sadness of leaving a place he would gladly stay in, but with a heart willing to obey Godā€™s call.

During the Teachersā€™ Day celebration, he left us with a message that goes beyond goodbye: wherever we are sent, we serve, we obey, and we trust in Godā€™s purpose.

Thank you, Bishop Bai, for your years of love and service to Borongan and for reminding us that true service means saying yes, even when leaving is hard. May God bless you abundantly in your new mission. You will always have a place in our hearts. ā¤ļø

Today, we celebrate not just her 60 years of life, but the love, strength, and countless sacrifices that shaped her journey. A true island woman whose spirit never gave up.

But as beautiful as she looked that evening, nothing shined brighter than the love showered on her.
