🌄 Impasug-ong Ridge Ultra (IRU) – Not for Beginners! 🏃‍♂️💨
Since I started running and discovered the beauty (and pain) of trail running, this has been the hardest route I’ve ever conquered.

The ridges tested every ounce of grit—🔥 heat training is a must here. Many runners warned me beforehand: “Be ready for the heat.” And they were right—almost no trees, just endless rolling ridges under the sun.

I thought I could push the uphills and bomb the downhills… but the course humbled me. If the uphills were technical, the downhills were just as punishing.

Yes, there may have been some flaws in the event—but nothing beyond the organizer’s control. At the end of the day, IRU gave me exactly what I signed up for: a battle against the trail, the heat, and myself. 💪

Would I race it again? Yes—but only if I bring my heat and elevation training to the next level. 🌞⛰️

Don't wait for life to get easier, don't wait for the paycheck to grow, or wait for the dream house.

Time doesn't slow down or wait for anyone, and these little moments won't last forever.
Look around and you'll probably see that you once dreamed of the very life you're living today.

The busy home, the playing kids, the endless to-do list...
