NEWS | BulSU Transitions to New School Management System for A.Y. 2025–2026

In a move to improve academic and administrative services, Bulacan State University (BulSU) has officially announced its transition to a new School Management System (SMS) beginning Academic Year 2025–2026. This development was detailed in Joint Memorandum No. 04, Series of 2025, released on June 13, 2025.

The administration assured stakeholders that the enrollment of incoming first-year students is recognized and official. However, due to the transition, class schedules, subject loads, faculty assignments, and room designations are still being finalized within the new system. Certificates of Registration (CORs) will be released once all enrollment details are encoded and verified. Students will be notified via their registered email once their COR becomes available.

Therefore, the officials are asking for the patience and understanding of the entire BulSU community during this adjustment period, emphasizing that the system upgrade is a strategic move to better serve students and stakeholders. via. Pamela Alvarez / DAMBANA

Are you passionate about journalism and creative storytelling? This is your chance to make your mark!

The Student Publications Office is now accepting applications for the Editorial Board of Pacesetter, the official student publication of Bulacan State University, for A.Y. 2025–2026.

📌 Qualifications:

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
✅Must be enrolled in at least 15 academic units (certified by the College Dean or University Registrar)
✅Must secure a Certificate of Good Moral Character from the Dean of Student Affairs and Services
✅Must have at least one year of residency at the university
✅Must have no failing, incomplete, or conditional marks in any subject at the time of application
✅Must not have been subjected to any disciplinary action
✅Must not be holding any major position in any student organizations
✅Must not be affiliated as a member or officer of any student political party or student organization in the university or outside the university

Some people pass through our lives quietly, but their presence leaves an echo. This is a short comic I made in memory of Joshua Redubla. Someone I wasn’t close with, but whose warmth and kindness I never forgot. Grief has many forms—and sometimes, it lingers in the what-ifs. This one’s for him. And for anyone who’s ever felt the weight of a silent goodbye.

And that made all the difference. This comic is a glimpse into that quiet life. How being part of our school publication gave it color. Malansa ang mga platapormang inihahaain ng partidong Alyansa sa masang Pilipino, umaalingasaw pero hindi sinusubukang itago.

Bakit sa dami ng mga opisyales na tinuringang maghahatid ng kapayapaan at kaligtasan sa loob ng Campus, ay nakapasok parin ang mga magnanakaw? Nakaupo at nag tatawanan sa loob ng malamig na silid samantala ang masang estudyante ay napapaso sa init ng araw dahil hindi pinahintulutang ikansela ang klase.

Ang dahilan? Upang may mga sumalubong sa mga dumating na bisita —na sa kabaligtaran ng nais mangyari ng mga nag-imbita, ay sinalubong ng kilos protesta.

Bakit ginagawang entablado ng mga taong ito ang lugar ng pag katuto para mamulitika?
Ang mga trapo ay hindi imbitado sa pamantasan ng mga iskolar ng bayan!
