TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
Dangerous weather like heavy rain, strong winds, and storm surge may hit areas far from where UWAN makes landfall.
UWAN is moving west-northwest and may pass close to Catanduanes this morning. It could make landfall in Aurora tonight or early tomorrow.
A direct hit or landfall in Catanduanes is still possible.
UWAN may hit land at its strongest, then weaken as it crosses Northern Luzon, but it will stay a typhoon.
After crossing land, UWAN will move over Lingayen Gulf or nearby coastal waters by tomorrow morning.
By Tuesday (Nov 11), it will head northwest and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), then re-enter briefly near Taiwan before leaving PAR again by Friday (Nov 14).
