JUST IN: A plane crash shook Mt. Sto. Tomas in Tuba, Benguet on Wednesday morning, 20 May 2026, triggering an urgent multi-agency emergency response. The Information Officer of Police Regional Office-Cordillera confirmed that two passengers were aboard the aircraft. Search, rescue, and retrieval operations are currently underway, led by responders from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Tuba Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).
