Mas pagod pa ako kesa sa yaya

Hi moms, pavent lang. We fired our yaya this Monday because pakiramdam ko mas pagod pa ako kesa sa kanya. For context, may dalawa akong yaya. Yaya1 53F and yaya2 22F. Initially si yaya 1 lang ang kasama ko kasi naka ML pa ako, pero nung nag return to work na ako (wfh ako btw) medyo nahirapan sya sa trabaho that is why we decided to get another help. But eversince dumating si yaya 2, parang si yaya 1 ang naging amo. Yaya 2 does all the house chores while si yaya 1 na supposedly tutok kay baby ay panay pa rin ang istorbo sakin sa work because di nya daw mailapag pag tulog. Sinanay nya kasi sa contact nap yung baby ko, now ako naman ang naiistorbo sa trabaho while she lounge around our house video chatting with her lover. She also take additional day offs na, and recently we found out nga na she has a lover and kada paalam nya na hindi matutulog sa bahay ay kinikita nya yung lalake nya. Palagi na rin syang nagsisinungaling at umiiwas sa trabaho, nagkukulong sa kwarto para di mautusan. We also noticed that everytime she comes back, pagod na pagod at minsan may ubo sipon pa. So with a heavy heart, we fired her. Gusto ko lang mag vent kasi as a ftm, napakahirap talaga makahanap ng kasambahay na matino. We treated her like family, naka AC pa nga sya. We pay her premium dahil may anak syang pinapaaral plus everytime may occasion like her birthday or her daughter’s graduation, may extra cash gift sya. My parents and in laws also gave her gifts when they visit us here sa Manila. Iniisip ko, saan pa ba kami nagkulang? Bakit abusado pa rin sya maski tinuring na namin syang pamilya?

Around 7:00 AM, I rode a Move It on my way to work.
Suddenly, Kuya stopped along E. Rodriguez and began to cry. He told me, “Sandali lang Sir, ilalabas ko muna ’to lahat,” and then he started sobbing.
I asked him gently, “Okay ka lang, Kuya?”
He replied, “Oo, ihahatid muna kita, Sir, bago ako umuwi.”
Then he started the motorcycle again. He didn’t want to share what he was going through, and I didn’t push him. He kept crying quietly as we rode until we reached the school where I work.
Before I got off, I comforted him as best as I could. I tried to calm him down and gave him a tip, not just as a thankyou, but because I saw how brave he was. It takes a lot of strength to keep going when you're breaking down inside.

Then I had a realization.
In our country, it’s so hard to be sad, especially if you're not privileged. Kapag nasa laylayan ka, you don’t even have the luxury to break down. You have to keep working while you're hurting. You cry while doing something because stopping means wasting time, and time is money. And you still need to pay bills, feed your family, and survive.

Kapag nasa laylayan ka, mahirap maging masaya. Pero mahirap din maging malungkot.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested in Quezon City on Wednesday after allegedly swindling several business owners out of millions of pesos in luxury goods. The suspect, who reportedly used worthless post-dated checks for payment, faces multiple charges of estafa and violation of the Anti-Bouncing Check Law (BP 22).

Police Lt. Col. Alejandrino summarized the core of the deception: “'Yung modus niya, i-entice niya itong mga victim sa promise of return ng goods by issuing a PDC o post-dated tseke. Later on malaman ng receiver ng tseke na wala pa lang pondo ito o closed account na ito kaya nagba-bounce 'yung mga PDC nila. Meron ding in-trade of jewelry and expensive watches.”

A newborn baby boy was found alive in a trash bag near a hospital in Buluan, Maguindanao del Sur on October 21, 2025, and was immediately taken to the emergency room for medical care. BARMM Health Minister Dr. Kadil Sinolinding Jr. stated the baby is receiving appropriate management and treatment, especially given his exposure to a dirty environment.

“The baby boy was rescued immediately and nagawan ng paraan para malunasan yung bata. At the moment, ginagamot at binigyan na siya ng appropriate management and treatment ideal for newborn babies and exposed dito sa maruming environment,” said BARMM Health Minister Dr. Kadil Sinolinding Jr.

“Nagsabi yung mother, ‘puwede mag-CR muna ako?’ So pumasok siya sa CR… So pag-CR niya, nanganak siya sa CR… Pagkapanganak niya, nilagay niya sa basurahan yung baby. Umuwi siya ng bahay,” said Buluan District Hospital Chief of Professional Medical Staff, Dr. Noriza Mangansakan-Midtimbang. R
