ONSITE CLASSES SUSPENDED

Please be advised that all classes tomorrow, November 24, 2025, will shift to ONLINE MODALITY. This follows the city mayor’s directive suspending face-to-face classes due to the approaching typhoon.

The Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO) have also raised CODE BLUE as part of the city’s emergency readiness measures.

Students should access the online class links shared by their teachers.

Following the recent announcement from our City Mayor, Hon. Nestor Archival, via his official page, in-person or face-to-face classes will officially resume on November 13, 2025, as weather conditions have improved and aftershocks in the region have significantly decreased.

In compliance with the Memorandum Circular No. 106 of the Office of the President, Malacañang, please be informed that CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS are hereby suspended on November 10–11, 2025.

The suspension is necessary because of the advisory regarding Typhoon Uwan. Our primary concern is the safety and welfare of all students, faculty, and staff.

Please stay safe, watch for official announcements, and take all necessary precautions during this time.

On behalf of the STAS administration, faculty, and staff, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to my family, friends, and STAS parents (Bulacao campus) for your love and support in helping our teachers and staff who lost their homes during Typhoon Tino.

We know that many of you and your own families were also affected by the typhoon—facing loss, damage, and hardship yourselves—yet you still chose to share what you had. Your generosity in giving money, food, clothes, and especially your prayers, means so much to us.

We are also deeply thankful to those who personally went to the homes or areas of our affected teachers and staff to offer help and give donations. Your presence and care brought comfort and hope during a very difficult time.

Thank you all for showing what it truly means to care and to stand together as one STAS family.

Online classes will be held from October 20 to 24, followed by a break from October 25 to November 2.
