In November 2013, the Holy Face of Jesus reportedly appeared on a Eucharistic host during Mass at Christ the King Church in Vilakkannur, Kerala, India. This event attracted thousands of visitors, leading to a scientific investigation. In May 2025, the Vatican officially recognised it as a Eucharistic miracle. Prior to this, the Syro-Malabar Church had declared it a “Relic of Divinity.” The host is now venerated on a side altar and continues to attract pilgrims, with reports of spiritual and social transformations among parishioners since the occurrence.
