The Caraga Region is set to make history tomorrow, October 21, as it conducts its first-ever Computer-Based Licensure Examination (CBLE) for the Mining Engineer Licensure Examination.
Unlike the traditional paper-and-pencil method where examinees shade their answers on answer sheets, the new system allows examinees to use computers or laptops to input their answers directly, making the process more efficient, accurate, and secure.
This pioneer implementation of CBLE in the region marks a major step toward modernizing licensure examinations, ensuring faster processing and immediate transmission of results. Examinees can also expect a more convenient and organized testing experience.
The launch of this new testing system follows the successful inauguration of the CBLE facility at PRC Caragaโs new building, attended by key officials including PRC Commissioner Hon. Erwin Enad, Atty. Arnel G. Ramon, Director of the Licensure Office, DOLE-Caraga Assistant Regional Director Fatima Bataga, and a representative from DPWH Caraga.
With this milestone, PRC Caraga reinforces its commitment to innovation and improved public service proving that in the future of licensure examinations, there will truly be no more shading.
