President Donald Trump has been submitted for being placed among the historical Presidents of Mount Rushmore 🇺🇸

👇🏽

Dear Secretary Burgum,

We write to urge your consideration of a proposal that reflects the enduring legacy of a consequential American president. Given the scale and scope of recent achievements under President Donald J. Trump-including the enactment of the historic "Big Beautiful Bill" to secure our border, rebuild our military, and slash government bloat to reinvigorate our government and society-it is appropriate to explore the addition of his likeness to Mount Rushmore.

Mount Rushmore honors presidents who represent the birth, growth, development, and preservation of the United States. President Trump's leadership advances each of those pillars.

Like George Washington, he champions American independence and is reshaping the presidency with strength and clarity of purpose. Like Thomas Jefferson, he is expanding America's horizons and pursuing bold reforms that reorient the country's economic direction and return power to the people. Like Theodore Roosevelt, he takes on entrenched interests and is reinvigorating American industry, rebuilding the American military, and safeguarding the working class from bureaucratic overreach. And like Abraham Lincoln, he is fighting to preserve the Union-this time not from secession, but from invasion, drift, decline, and the steady erosion of self-government.

These are not transient accomplishments. They are structural changes with lasting national significance. For decades, historians, economists, and public servants will measure their work against the standards reestablished by President Trump.

We understand that physical modifications to Mount Rushmore raise logistical and preservation questions, but this discussion should not be foreclosed based on past bureaucratic resistance or political discomfort.

While meeting the logistical challenges may require engagement with state and/or tribal officials, the national benefit of promptly recognizing President Trump's accomplishments in restoring American greatness makes doing so a priority, and the benefits of elevating the dignity and relevance of the site, thus increasing both its grandeur and its visitor traffic, will accrue to South Dakota, the Lakota Sioux, and the broader area.

The Department of the Interior owes the American people a full, fair, and transparent consideration of how best to commemorate presidential legacies of enduring consequence. That includes opening a formal review of how President Trump's leadership might be symbolically recognized on par with the leaders already enshrined.

We urge you to initiate a feasibility assessment-technical, legal, and cultural-for this proposal, and to engage with public sentiment and expert consultation on the matter.

The legacy of Mount Rushmore is not frozen in stone. It is alive in the American memory, and it should evolve to reflect the full arc of our nation's history-including its most recent and transformative chapters.

Sincerely,

Andy Ogles
Member of Congress

Idk what Disney is thinking lately or what Karens they have making decisions but this girls comment says exactly what 99% of us Marvel fans are thinking.

They literally have a scene in ironheart where the girl says “Do you think Tony Stark would be Tony Stark if he wasn’t a billionaire?” Smh. Tony Stark built the Ironman suit in a CAVE…. Then sacrificed himself to save the UNIVERSE.

Crap like this is why Disney is tanking. It’s sad. Identity politics have gotten so old and they ruin movies and shows.

“abolish capitalism!”

Cool. who grows the food???

No seriously—who’s out there at dawn breaking their back in the dirt, fixing broken irrigation lines, replacing a tractor axle in 110° heat—for free? Because you think profit is mean?

Who mines the lithium for your laptop, the cobalt for your EV battery, the iron for your train rails? Who refines it? Who ships it? who builds the ships? Who insures them when they catch fire in the middle of the ocean?

Who unloads the containers at the port? Who drives the truck across 4 states? Who services the diesel engine at the roadside stop in Nebraska when it breaks at 3am?

Who keeps track of inventory, repairs the refrigeration system, updates the software, cleans the floors, builds the shelves, trains the workers, manages the risk, pays the legal fees, replaces the lightbulbs, handles the theft, the overtime, the breakdowns, the lawsuits?

Who coordinates all of this across time zones and continents without profit?

You think the whole supply chain is just gonna keep running because everyone suddenly caught a case of the warm fuzzies???

You think people are going to wake up and go do hard, thankless, physical labor for vibes?

Capitalism doesn’t work because people are good. It works because people are selfish and it figured out how to harness that into infrastructure. It’s the only system that survives human nature without needing to rewrite it.

You kill profit, you kill production. You kill production, you kill logistics. You kill logistics, and suddenly it’s day four of your anti-capitalist utopia and the shelves are empty, the power’s out, the pharmacy’s closed, and nobody knows how to fix a fu***ng thing.

Anti-capitalism isn’t a philosophy. It’s a death wish dressed up as a virtue signal.

It’s the aesthetic of rebellion powered by an iPhone, subsidized by Uber Eats, and resting on 400 years of industrial infrastructure you take for granted because you’ve never built a single useful thing in your life.

You’re not oppressed, you’re just ungrateful.

And the second you get your little no-profit revolution, you’ll find out exactly how long society runs on vibes: about three days, give or take—then the generators fail and you’re boiling rainwater so you can heat up your sh*tty powdered food.
