There are times that our worries cloud our faith. Our piling up responsibilities, the rush of the deadlines, the number in our bank accounts, or the time we set for ourselves to reach our dreams can easily drown our minds—pushing aside the joy, love, and peace in our hearts.

But when we seek God’s kingdom first, we are promised His peace that calms our worries, His joy that strengthens us in trials, and His love that never fails. These are the things that our soul is actually longing for—these spaces that we thought can be satisfied by the tangible things that our hands can grab and grasp.

Tomorrow is uncertain, but today is filled with God’s presence. Each moment becomes lighter when we place our trust in Him rather than in our own strength. So, whatever worries that your heart is carrying right now, offer it to God.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for reminding me to seek You above all else. Fill my heart with Your peace when worries arise, with Your joy that overflows even in trials, and with Your love that sustains me daily. Help me to live one day at a time, trusting that You hold my tomorrows. May my life reflect Your kingdom here on earth.
