Master of Education Program earns Level III Accreditation
Following the approval of the portability of accreditation through the Master of Arts in Education (MAEd) program, the Master of Education (MEd) program earned a five-year Level III Accreditation status effective December 2024 to December 2029.
The accreditation was granted by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) after the university complied with the requirements set by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities – Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI).
WUP had nine specializations under the MEd program that included Early Childhood Education, Filipino Language Education, Guidance and Counseling, Physical Education, Home Economics, Language Education, Mathematics Education, Science Education, and Social Studies Education.
This re-accreditation demonstrated Wesleyan University-Philippines’ commitment to academic excellence and continuous quality improvement. This accreditation would assure current and prospective students of the program's adherence to high educational benchmarks.
“This accomplishment is also directly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), which aims to 'Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all," cited Dr. John Mark F. Bondoc, Dean of the Graduate School.
