𝗘𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝟭: 𝘾𝘾𝙋 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙆𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙛𝙛 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣!

Yesterday, on October 7, 2024, the much-anticipated day arrived at the Community Colleges of the Philippines as they celebrated the first day of the intramurals with an opening ceremony, marking the beginning of a friendly competition.

At precisely 8 a.m., the event started with the lively Zumba performance by The Eras (CCP Dancers), getting everyone energized for the day's events. Following the energetic warm-up, Mrs. Anicia Cleofas delivered an opening remarks highlighting the importance of sportsmanship. This was followed by an oath taken by sports officials led by Mr. Ace Estipular. The athletes then took the oath of sportsmanship, committing to compete with the principal. To officially start the spirit of the event, a torch was run through the crowd, carried by a group of inspiring athletes including Nathaniel Sultan, Ed Gallegos, Chelsea Nicole Rumingan, and Francine Viesca. The announcement of the intramural opening marked the start of an exciting season.

The first day also included the fierce competition of Mr. and Ms. Intramurals, as well as the Ms. Drag Dashing Athlete competition, bringing fun to the event. The day's activities also included a variety of enjoyable games (Laro ng Lahi) such as Catch the Dragon's Tail and Sack Race, offering friendly competition for everyone involved.

LOOK: CCP Surprises Teachers with Heartwarming Celebration!

This morning, on October 4, 2024, the Community Colleges of the Philippines hosted a remarkable Teachers' Day celebration, honoring the dedicated educators who play a pivotal role in shaping students' knowledge and future success.

The program started at 8:30 am, catching the teachers off guard with the news of no scheduled event. Little did they know that the school staff, SSLG officers, and the OSA head had been planning a surprise event for them. The stage and the basketball ground were transformed into a stunning display of flowers and banners, setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

The event kicked off with an opening and motivational address by the principal, Mrs. Anicia Cleofas, and school director, Mr. Jimboy Sison, where they extended congratulations to the teachers and acknowledged their dedication. The program also showcased captivating intermissions, featuring performances such as singing, dancing, and spoken poetry by talented students. Furthermore, several students used the opportunity to express their gratitude through short speeches. Additionally, Ms. Princess Dizon curated engaging and lively games to provide entertainment for the teachers.

Following a series of engaging programs, every student had the opportunity to cherish a remarkable moment with their class advisors in the comfort of their classroom. This Teacher's Day was truly congenial, as it was celebrated with smiles and happiness.

On August 30, 2024, the Community Colleges of the Philippines (CCP) hosted a "Denim and Diamonds" themed Acquaintance Party at the prestigious Luzviminda's Event Center for Senior High School and Junior High School students.

The program officially began at 6:00 PM with Ms. Ashley Calleja leading the opening prayers. Ms. Sally DC. Friginal then addressed the attendees with a welcoming speech, followed by a warm greeting from Mr. Ace R. Estipular. The CCP Dance Group, The Eras, energized the audience with their performance, "Randomatic," led by Mr. Renzon Escuardo. The SSLG Officers, under the guidance of their adviser, Mr. Ryan Christian Alejandro Lagmay, also took their oath at the venue. The evening concluded with a captivating performance by the CCP Chorale, who entertained the crowd with their singing.

Adding to the excitement, a raffle was held, with departmental shirts awarded to lucky students from each strand. Mr. Ace and Mr. Ryan then officially opened the dance floor, inviting both JHS and SHS students to enjoy a mix of slow and party music. The evening buzzed with energy as students danced with their partners and even their teachers, creating a memorable night filled with laughter, dancing, and a strong sense of community.

Ang inyong katapangan at pagmamahal sa ating Inang Bayan ay tunay na kapuri-puri. Mga bayaning handang magbuwis ng buhay upang makalaya ang ating bandila mula sa mga kamay ng mga banyaga. Ang inyong mga sakripisyo ay hindi kailanman malilimutan, at ang inyong mga pangalan ay magiging inspirasyon sa mga susunod na henerasyon.

Dahil sa pagdating ng mga banyaga't mananakop; pagtangis at pag-iyak ng mga pilipino'y dinig sa bawat sulok. Mula sa pang-aalipusta, pang-aalipin at maging ang paglaganap ng mga karahasan sa iba't ibang lupalop ng ating bayan. Gamit nyo'y tanging pluma't papel, itak, sibat, puso't lakas. Hindi kayo nagpasupil o umatras sa bawat laban. Kahit pa ang kanilang armas ay de kalidad na maari tayong pabagsakin sa isang pitik. Hindi n'yo inalintana bagkus kami'y inyong ipinagabaka, ipinagtanggol, iniligtas sa kamay ng karahasan. Inyo kaming ipinaglaban, kahit pa maari naman kayong lumiban. Tunay ngang ang pagmamahal n'yo sa ating bayan kailanma'y hindi matatawaran.

Marapat lamang alalahanin ang inyong kagitingan, sapagkat ang pinakita n'yong katapangan, pagmamahal ay nagsilbing tulay upang ang inyong kababayan ay 'di na mahirapan mula sa bisig ng mga banyaga. Taos pusong pasasalamat, sapagkat ang inyong bayan ay naging payak na tahanan, sa buong sambayanan.

Ngayong araw, Agosto 23, ginugunita natin ang ika-41 anibersaryo ng pagkamatay ng isang tunay na bayani, si dating Senador Benigno "Ninoy" Simeon Aquino Jr. Ang kanyang pagkamatay sa Manila International Airport noong 1983 ay isang malungkot na araw sa kasaysayan ng Pilipinas, ngunit ito rin ang naging simula ng pagbabago. Ang kanyang sakripisyo ay nag-udyok sa People Power Revolution, isang demonstrasyon ng lakas ng mamamayan na nagbigay daan sa at pagbabalik ng demokrasya sa ating bansa. Ang kanyang katapangan at pagmamahal sa kanyang nasasakupan, ay may mahalagang papel upang kalayaan ay matamasa. Salamat, Ninoy, sa iyong pagpapahalaga at sakripisyo. Ang iyong pamana ay patuloy na magiging inspirasyon sa bawat Pilipino na magsikap para sa isang mas mahusay na kinabukasan.
