✅ Right now, may 20% tax sa INTEREST ng savings mo.

✅ Sa Capital Markets Efficiency Promotion Act (CMEPA), 20% pa rin ang tax sa INTEREST ng savings mo. No change (for Peso savings / checking accounts).

✅ CMEPA took effect on July 1, 2025 but will not impact your time deposits made before that date.

✅ Ang 20% tax on INTEREST ay mag-a-apply na sa mga 3, 4, 5-year (or longer) time deposits na binuksan on or after July 1, 2025.
