"THINGS TO KNOW ON YOUR MARKET RESEARCH"

Market research is one of the vital things to do as digital marketer or freelancer. It's one of the things to do to know who specifically are we trying to help and offer our services. But, of course it's not that we have to pick it randomly or choosing them only according to your feelings or emotions.

Perhaps, there are a lot of things to consider before choosing your market and it has to do some research too. However in case you are already sure of the people or type of market you would like to pitch offer to or help, I have here some basic things to know especially when doing your market research.

a. Discover the main PROBLEM

We have to be aware what is their main problem in their business and explore what options can we do to help or assist them. If we have that it will be easy for you to determine what specific services you could offer to further accelerate their business.

b. Discover their NEEDS

Every business owner has their needs in order for their business to grow.
For example, copywriting, branding or organizing emails. There are numerous services that our clients might need for their business so we better have to be aware of these first while diving into the launch.

Like as I have mentioned there are numerous services that each freelancer could offer depending on their niche so discovering the first two options are important for us to know the right services for your clients.

We as FREELANCERS and ENTREPRENEURS needed some help to simplify and organize our work, not to mention our client tasks as well. So it's so important to have resources for you to be able to complete and achieve your tasks everyday, to avoid burnout and manage time wisely.

These lists of tools are the resources that I am using to help me manage my tasks every single day.

1. CANVA - This is my Life Saver. My first choice of making my templates and graphics. It's super useful and it gives you a lot of options for your contents, whether it would be a video, poster, logo, you name it's all in there!

2. TRELLO- This is the tool where I organize all my contents and tasks
daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. It's like my 'digital journal' at the same time.

3. FACEBOOK BUSINESS SUITE - This helps me manage my Facebook and Instagram contents all in one and helps me respond to messages quickly at the same time. Basically it's where I schedule my daily and monthly contents.
And of course IT'S FREE!

4. LINKTREE - My Ultimate Landing page to all of my
SOCIAL ACCOUNTS. Just visit my Linktree and get connected with me easily with just a CLICK AWAY!

5. CALENDLY- My own scheduling platform. This is where my clients access to
schedule a meeting or a discovery call.

"How to be productive despite DISTRACTIONS at home"

Distractions are inevitable. Sometimes we can't control them from coming or happening and at the end of the day we tend to be upset because some things aren't done yet because of it. We don't really have that perfect day all the time, and usually distractions are the usual challenges that freelancers have.

However, these basic basic tips could hopefully lessen your distractions or eliminate them at most to have focus of your daily tasks.

1. CREATE A MORNING ROUTINE
Morning routines are the best starters of the day.
This will increase productivity, lowers stress and boosts energy levels.
2. AVOID TV AND HOUSEHOLD CHORES DURING WORK HOURS
These basically are the common distractions that we encounter everyday. We have to be firm to avoid these to keep our focus of the tasks of the day and achieve better results.
3. MANAGE HOURS FOR EMAILS AND MESSAGING
Answering emails and messages outside of your work are fine, but it should have a separate hour so as not for you to be distracted with your tasks and to avoid delays .
4. CREATE A SCHEDULE FOR "ME TIME"
Productivity can also have time for yourself. Take a break. " Me time" can also include time for your family and your loved ones. There should be balanced in everything aside from just work.
5. USE SOFTWARE TO HELP YOU STAY ORGANIZED

If you have difficulty tracking your tasks especially if you have multiple tasks on hand then using an app or software could help you stay on track and not miss anything for the day. "Loop" is an example of an app that could help you track and organize your tasks.
