In the beginning, Adam and Eve hid themselves—not because God could not see them, but because sin awakened fear, shame, and reverence. They understood that standing before a holy God required humility and obedience.
Today, the danger is not hiding from God, but walking casually before Him—excusing what He calls sin, redefining holiness, and mistaking grace for permission. We say “God looks at the heart” while ignoring that a transformed heart produces a transformed life.
Grace does not erase reverence. Love does not cancel obedience. Freedom in Christ was never meant to clothe compromise.
The call remains the same: “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.” (Hebrews 12:14)
Let us not adjust God’s standards to fit our comfort, but adjust our lives to honor His holiness. May we walk before Him with fear, faith, humility, and obedience—because He is still holy, still righteous, and still worthy.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

She was supposed to go home ..From Kuwait to Japan to Manila then Cebu — she was only miles away from home, but never made it.
But instead of a joyful reunion, her family received the most painful surprise of all.
Wilma Auza — an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker) who had just arrived from Japan — was so close to finally being home. She boarded a bus from Cebu, just a few miles away from her hometown, excited to surprise her loved ones.
But she never made it.
She died on that bus. Alone. Of cardiac arrest.
Her luggage was filled with gifts... but her body
carried the weight of years of sacrifice.
She was tired. Too tired.
And no one knew how close she was to breaking down - not from weakness, but from giving too much of herself to everyone but herself.

–As Christians, let's reflect on the importance of self-care, not just physically but also spiritually and emotionally. Let's prioritize our relationship with God, seeking His guidance and strength in our daily lives. May we find rest and rejuvenation in His presence, and may we learn to pace ourselves, knowing that our worth and identity come from Him, not just from our accomplishments or sacrifices.
