LOOK: 13 May 2026 | Fire Safety Lecture and Drill

Personnel of Carmen Fire Station 3, under the supervision of Station Commander FSINSP KYLE BRYAN C LAUZON, successfully conducted a Fire Safety Lecture and Drill at Kabsarap as part of the continuous effort to promote fire prevention awareness and emergency preparedness.

The activity provided participants with essential knowledge on fire safety measures, proper use of fire extinguishers, and correct evacuation procedures during emergencies. Through the drill, employees and occupants were able to practice coordinated response and preparedness in case of fire incidents.

This activity aims to strengthen public awareness and build a safer and more prepared community.

LOOK: 25 April 2026 | Carmen Fire Station personnel, under the supervision of FSINSP KYLE BRYAN C LAUZON, actively participated in the “Kuyog ta sa Serbisyo sa Baryo” conducted at Carmen National High School.

The activity aimed to bring essential government services closer to the community. Our team provided public assistance and strengthened coordination with partner agencies, reinforcing our role as a committed collaborator in promoting safety and preparedness at the barangay level.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all stakeholders and community members who contributed to the success of this activity. Together, we continue to build a safer and more resilient Barangay Carmen.

Affected Areas: Cagayan de Oro City and Iligan City has reach high level of AQI.

Recent reports from the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) indicate a significant spike in fine particulate matter (PM2.5) due to stagnant air and extreme heat. In some areas, the Air Quality Index (AQI) has reached levels classified as “Very Unhealthy.”

We encourage the public to stay tuned to official government channels for real-time air quality updates. If you experience difficulty breathing, chest pain, or persistent coughing, please seek medical attention at the nearest health facility.
