Where Is God When It Hurts?

Job 23:8–10 (NIV)
"But if I go to the east, he is not there; if I go to the west, I cannot find him. When he is at work in the north, I do not see him; when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him. But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold."

Sometimes the hardest moments in life are not when we face problems, but when we feel God is silent.

Like Job, we may ask, “God, where are You when I am hurting? Why can’t I see You in my pain?”

Pain does not mean God has abandoned us. Sometimes God is working in ways we cannot see—refining our faith, strengthening our character, and shaping us to become more like Him.

Like gold tested by fire, our trials are not meant to destroy us but to reveal the faith God is building within us.

When you cannot find God in your pain, trust that He has never lost sight of you.

Are You Praying for an Easy Life or for Strength?

"I can do all this through him who gives me strength."
— Philippians 4:13 (NIV)

God gives us courage when we feel weak, peace when we feel anxious, and endurance when we feel tired.

"Hardships often prepare ordinary people for extraordinary destiny." - C.S. Lewis

WHO DO YOU SAY I AM?

"But what about you? Who do you say I am?"— Matthew 16:15 (NIV)

Everyone has an opinion about Jesus. Some see Him as a teacher, a miracle worker, or a good example. But Jesus asks a deeper question: "Who do you say I am?"

This is not just a question of knowledge—it is a question of relationship. Our answer reveals how we live.

Is Jesus only your Savior, or is He truly your Lord?

The greatest question you will ever answer is not what others say about Jesus, but who Jesus is to you.

WHAT DO YOU WANT?

WHAT DO YOU WANT?

"When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, 'Do you want to get well?'"
— John 5:6 (NIV)

One of the most powerful questions Jesus ever asked was not about knowledge, ability, or success.
It was about desire: "Do you want to get well?"

Jesus was not just asking about his physical healing. He was asking: "Are you ready for a changed life?"

We want the blessing, but sometimes we resist the process.

Jesus is not only interested in making our lives easier; He wants to make our lives new.

Can I Really Trust God’s Plan?

Can I Really Trust God’s Plan?

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

In times of uncertainty, it's easy to doubt. Yet, God’s promise reminds us that His plans are rooted in love and purpose. He sees the bigger picture, and every trial is part of His greater design.

Trusting God’s Plan:
1. Acknowledge Your Doubts: Bring uncertainties to God.
2. Seek His Guidance: Let God's Word guide your path.
3. Embrace His Timing: Trust that His timing is perfect.

Trusting God means believing that even when you can’t see the way, He is always working for your good.
