Maayong buntag! 🌞 It's the last day of the CDO Young Writers Studio 2026 and we're here on the second floor of Museo de Oro, Xavier Ateneo with our latest titles and postcards, plus books and zines from the members of NAGMAC!

In this age where generative AI is quick to find shortcuts to the messy but infinitely life-affirming creative process, we hope this array of publications will inspire our fellows to also put their works out in the world after the workshop. The CDO Young Writers Studio is thrilled to once again collaborate with two CDO-based champions of literature and creative writing: the Xavier Center for Culture and the Arts (XCCA) and Papel-Papel Publishing OPC.

Their commitment to nurturing local culture and the arts will make this year's workshop possible. We are grateful for their support and participation in the 2026 CDOYWS.

Papel-Papel Publishing OPC is a micro-press dedicated to publishing and creating spaces for underrepresented literary works in Cagayan de Oro City and Northern Mindanao. Magkita-kita tayo sa 6200 Book Fest sa Filinvest Mall, Dumaguete City ngayong 17–19 Hulyo 2026!

Bukod sa aming mga aklat pambata, nasa booth din namin ang mga zine, libro, at iba pang publikasyon mula sa Mindanao. Likha ang mga ito ng Papel-Papel PH Publishing OPC, Babaylan Zines, Sarangani Writers League, Dadiangas Writers Society, Aklat Mirasol, Nagkahiusang Magsusulat sa Cagayan de Oro, at Southern Voices Printing Press.

Naging posible ang partisipasyon namin dahil sa grant mula sa National Book Development Board - Philippines.

Thank you once again to all our guests and friends who joined us for the launch of 𝑷𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒐𝒅: 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑲𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒚-𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒊𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒏𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝑽𝒐𝒍. 1 & 2! 

It was an intimate celebration of the people from Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental who shaped the city and province in monumental ways.

We're honored to have been joined by the subjects and their families who made time, some even traveling from abroad, to join us. It was truly an unforgettable event!
