Have you ever imagined turning back time just to erase all the sadness? But then there's that quiet thought that tells you if you did, you might lose the happiness that came with it too.

It’s strange to think that if the pain had never happened, the joy wouldn’t have meant as much either.

Woke up and realized something unfamiliar: no deadlines to meet, no 3AM breakdowns, no exams to prepare and cram for, no mental checklist of assignments running through my head. For the first time in a long while, there was silence and peace.

It’s in this quiet that I realized how much of ourselves we pour into our academic journey—late nights, early mornings, and the constant pressure to keep going. This, right here, is the breath we forget we need.

Is this what it feels like after surviving a long semester? Maybe. One thing’s certain: every student deserves this pause. So if you're here, take a deep breath, you’ve earned it.

FROM "APPOINTED" TO "ANOINTED" — WHAT A STORYLINE!

Why compete when you can just get appointed and still take the crown.

To the girls who trained, competed, and earned their spot—you deserved better. Tonight wasn’t just unexpected, it was unfairly predictable.

Imagine training for months, winning your national crown, living and breathing Miss World. Then boom, someone appointed in her country snatches the title. 💀

If Thailand wins Miss World 2025 tonight, it’s giving “thanks for your effort, but we had someone in mind.” Fair? Not really. Inspiring? Definitely not.

Please let me win in this last night of May.

I hope I finally get a break from everything that's been going on this month. I hope things start to get better, and the weight I've been carrying won't feel so heavy anymore.

I know everything happens for a reason, but I'm really hoping things will begin to feel lighter.

I'm not asking for much—just a little progress and a small win would be more than enough to carry me into June.

You’ve done your part—studied, prayed, planned, hoped. You’ve stayed up late, faced challenges, and pushed through doubts. Now, take a moment to breathe and remind yourself: even if you can’t see the results yet, trust that the right things are aligning quietly and coming together. Growth is happening, timing is unfolding and what’s meant for you is already aligning.

Stay patient—sometimes the best things come quietly, while you’re still becoming the person ready to receive them. Your effort, your resilience, and your heart are shaping a future far greater than you imagine.

Some months hit harder than others, and May has been a quiet battle—and I know I’m not the only one feeling that way. We’re just past the halfway mark, and I can’t help but wish for a little relief. This isn’t about wanting big changes. It’s just about hoping for small things: a bit of calm, a moment of clarity, a little progress, and a sign that things are slowly getting better. Just something to remind me that better days are still possible.

I know things take time, and maybe all of this is part of the process. But still—I’m holding on to hope that the rest of May has something good in store. ❤️‍🩹

You chose popularity over integrity — again. And now you're wondering why we’re suffering and nothing ever changes?

Camille Villar and Lito Lapid over Heidi Mendoza and Atty. Luke Espiritu? Ang hirap niyong ipaglaban!

You keep crying out about how hard life is, how broken our system is and you complain about corruption, poverty, and injustice— but when you were finally given the rare chance to vote for real, fearless, anti-corruption leaders, you turned your back on them.

You let go of the one and only Heidi Mendoza (woman of integrity), and the tireless fighter Atty. Luke Espiritu (voice of the masses). But what did we do? We wasted the opportunity.
We turned away from what could’ve been a turning point.

I did my part. I voted for truth. I voted for hope. I fought for leaders who stood for us, not for power. I fought for people who truly deserved a seat in the Senate. And I’ll never regret that.

We deserve better.
We deserve clean governance.
We deserve people who won't sell us out for power, fame, or greed.

Grabe, this feels like déjà vu— like when the great Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago ran for president. Another brave woman silenced, just because the masses were blinded by noise. History is repeating itself, and once again, the brave are left behind.

Bakit ganun? Ayaw talaga natin sa taong handang maglingkod ng tapat? Mas gusto pa nating mahirapan sa kamay ng mga taong ilang dekada na tayong ginagatasan?

Nakakadurog. Nakakagalit. Nakakaiyak.

To Sen. Heidi and Atty. Luk — if ever you get to read this, please run again. We still believe in you. We love you. And we’ll be here, fighting again in 2028.

Lord, we’ve been through so much. This time, let good governance win. 🥹
