The meeting focused on addressing boundary concerns involving Barangay Puerto and Municipality of Manolo Fortich; Barangays 21 and 23; Barangay Indahag and Barangay Camaman-an; and Barangay Puntod and Barangay Macabalan, including the boundary concern involving Puerto, Cagayan de Oro City and Alae, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
Through dialogue, proper coordination, and careful review of relevant documents and concerns, the TWG continues to promote fair, peaceful, and mutually acceptable resolutions to boundary disputes for the benefit of the communities involved.

AGENDA

1. ROPOSED RESOLUTION NOS. 2026-381 - declaring as operative in its
entirety effective on the date fixed therein Ordinance No. 03, Series of 2026, of
the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Besigan, this City, covering its Annual
Budget for CY 2026 with an Estimated Income of ₱5,757.588.00.

2. PROPOSED RESOLUTION NOs. 2026-382 – 2026-383 - (for omnibus approval)
– declaring as operative in their entirety effective on the date fixed therein the
herein Sangguniang Kabataan Resolutions covering the respective Annual Budget
for CY 2026 of the herein mentioned Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of the Barangays
of Cagayan de Oro City,

3. PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. 2026-384 – approving and/or adopting the
Social Protection Development Report (SPDR) 2026-2028 of Cagayan de Oro City.

4. PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. 2026-385 – adopting the Order of the
Committee on Ethics and Blue Ribbon on BR Case No. 2026-07, entitled: “Mr.
Nestor Antig, Mr. Rene Caballero, Mr. Geremie Longakit, Mr. Agustin Bagongon, and Mr.
Melvin Labadan, all of Barangay Mambuaya (Complainants) versus Hon. Philip S. Porras,
Punong Barangay of Barangay Mambuaya (Respondent), for alleged force relocation without
due process”, dismissing the said case for lack of interest and failure to prosecute
on the part of the complainants.

5) PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. 2026-386 – interposing no objection to the
application of AB Leisure Exponent, Inc., represented by its Head of Legal Department
and Compliance Officer, Atty. Kristine Margaret Delos Reyes, to operate a Traditional
Bingo and Electronic Bingo (Offline) at the 2nd Floor, Robinson Mall, Rosario
Crescent corner Florentino Street, Barangay No. 31, Cagayan de Oro City;
Provided, that all the requirements, rules and regulations covering the operation
thereof are complied.

6. PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 2026-370 – levying Training Registration Fees
for the Programs and Courses offered by the Office of Lifelong Learnings and
Professional Development (OLLPD) of the City College of Cagayan de Oro at the
rates for provided herein, and for other purposes.

7. PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 2026-363 – institutionalizing in the City of
Cagayan de Oro the Mother-to-Mother Support Group of Barangays First 1000
Days (BF1KD) and Nutrition-Specific Interventions for Pregnant Women,
Lactating Mothers and Children 0-59 months during the First 1000 Days; and for
other purposes.

8. PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 2026-371 – authorizing the Honorable City
Mayor Rolando A. Uy, representing the City Government of Cagayan de Oro, to
enter into and sign the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine
Statistics Authority (PSA), represented by its Regional Director, Janith C. Aves, CE, DM,
covering the use of the Electronic Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System
(eCRVS) web application and one (1) unit Computer Set with Printer-Scanner for
civil registration operations through the Civil Registry Office, this City, under the
terms and conditions stipulated therein.

9. PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 2026-372 — authorizing the Honorable City Mayor Rolando A. Uy, representing the City Government of Cagayan de Oro, to enter into and sign the Sisterhood Agreement with the City Government of San Juan, Metro Manila, represented by its City Mayor, Hon. Francisco Javier M. Zamora, covering the establishment of a sisterhood relationship between the two Cities to strengthen cooperation and foster mutually beneficial initiatives in various areas of local governance, under the terms and conditions stipulated therein.

10. PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. 2026-387 — confirming the appointment of Engr. Ardines C. Cabrera as City Government Department Head II (City Planning and Development Coordinator) of the Office of the City Planning and Development Coordinator, this City, with all rights and privileges appurtenant thereto.

11. PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO. 2026-388 — authorizing the Honorable City Mayor Rolando A. Uy to file with the Commission on Election (COMELEC) a request for exemption from the election ban on the implementation of projects, activities and programs pertaining to social services and housing-related projects of the City Government of Cagayan de Oro in relation to the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE).

DUE to the high heat index monitoring by PAGASA-Mindanao PRSD in it’s Laguindingan Airport, Misamis Oriental Station as of August 12, 2026, with a 2-day forecast of 43 degrees celsius (DANGER CLASSIFICATION) for August 13 and 14, 2026, CDO City Mayor Rolando ‘Klarex’ Uy will suspend classes in all public schools from pre-school to high school levels on Thursday and Friday, August 13 and 14, 2026, respectively.

However, suspension of classes for private pre-school to high school levels and higher education institutions (HEI's) shall be left to the sound wisdom and discretion of their respective principals/administrators/school heads.

An Executive Order formalizing the class suspension will follow.
