𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮!

It was raining very hard on my way home past 12 midnight when this black pick-up truck was stalled in the middle of the road at Pinikitan Brgy Camaman-an in front of us. There were already several cars on that tiny one way road behind him.

Abi nako naay construction works when I realized "Murag 10 minutes naman di ga dagan"

Eager to go home, I stepped out of my car and went over to check only to find out NATULOG/NAKATULOG DIAY SIYA 😳

Sige nako tuktokon ang iyang window and di gyud mu mata. Gi atake ba kaha siya? I hope not and I doubt judging from the way he was positioned asleep on his seat.

Intoxicated or hubog kaayo? I would like to believe so.

I am not posting this to publicly shame the guy. I am posting this to for two reasons.

1. If hubog kaayo ka, please don't drive as this poses tremendous risk to you and others. Be responsible enough. Aprub ba bai?

2. And if ever naka drive ka and decides to pull over to sleep it off, ayaw pud sa tunga sa dalan kay dili sayun mag backing sa single lane nga one way with lots of cars already lined up.

Let's keep CDO roads safer ug mas hapsay mga higala.

So to the guy, I hope you are safe mister. It was a very smart decision to sleep it off (except the part nga tunga jud sa dalan)

While I was waiting for the traffic light to go green, one Badjao kid came to wipe off my car's windshield and proceeded to ask for money.

Before I could even share some with him, I decided to strike a quick conversation with him.

Me: Pila imo edad?

Badjao: Wala ko kabalo

Me: Ngano wala man ka nag skwela?

Badjao: Dili mi dawaton

Me: Ngano dili ka dawaton?

Badjao: Kay Badjao mi

And then the traffic light turns green ✅

His answer was so overwhelming that it begs the question, are they facing real discrimination when it comes to schooling opportunities? I hope not.
