FARMERS FORUM & CULMINATION 2025 UNFOLDS TODAY IN GITAGUM
The Municipality of Gitagum, Misamis Oriental proudly opens the Farmers Forum and Culmination 2025 today, an initiative spearheaded by the Local Government Unit of Gitagum, led by Mayor April Rose Dablio, Vice Mayor Rudy Damasing, and the Sangguniang Bayan Members.
The event kicked off with a vibrant motorcade joined by farmers from all 11 barangays, showcasing unity and appreciation for Gitagum’s agricultural community. Adding excitement to the parade were the lovely representatives from each barangay, proudly presented as candidates for the Mutya ng Farmers.
Following the motorcade, participants gathered at the Gitagum Gymnasium for the Farmers Forum, where discussions, learning, and community engagement highlighted the importance of agriculture in the municipality’s growth.
Also gracing the event was Board Member Princess Emano, representing Governor Juliette T. Uy of the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental, showing strong support for Gitagum farmers.
Later today, the celebration continues with the much-awaited Mutya ng Farmers Pageant, honoring the grace, confidence, and cultural pride of Gitagum’s women in agriculture.
This meaningful event reflects the dedicated leadership of Mayor April Rose Dablio as an expression of gratitude and a heartfelt way of giving back to the farmers for their invaluable contribution to the progress and development of Gitagum.
As a gesture of appreciation, the LGU Gitagum is also distributing giveaways and small cash gifts to the farmers.
